Average Chinese foodHad Xiao Long Bao, Prawn Toast, Ha Gao (Prawn Dumpling), General Tso’s chicken, honey Prawns.They all tasted ok, but the flavour is lacking in a lot of the dishes.I don’t think I’ll be coming back but probably don’t mind if I have to eat here. It just won’t be my first choice

The noodles are very resilient, the soup is delicious and full, and it is one of Newcastle's most satisfied noodle restaurants.

The food is pricey & not delicious. Happy to pay the price for good tasty food. All we got was a very salty duck dish. The fried rice was ok. The dumplings were downright tasteless by itself. The wrapper for the dumplings were thick. We ordered a seafood dumpling & a pork dumpling. We received 2 exactly the same dishes, couldn't work out which is the seafood dumpling & which is the pork dumpling. Didn't bother to bring it to the attention of the wait staff, coz we couldn't find one. Just wanted to finish our food & get out of there. So, never going back there. If you know what real good & tasty food is, you'll never go back. Don't know where all the high reviews are coming from, but this one really didn't hit the mark!

We enjoyed a quick meeting here with a local Real estate.Fantastic food. A great lunch meeting option.Lunch was served fast and the food was well presented and delicious.The tablet ordering system made it easy for everyone to order what they preferred.

Nice Dumplings & Asian dining in Charlestown Square, in the old New Shanghai locale.Decor is worse than previous, too bright & inconsistent.Service was ok, cleanliness in some areas needs to improve.2 Dumpling dishes were nice: tasty, fresh, prompt - well worth returning to try tofu & other dishes, even if a bit pricey.

Had a lovely lunch for my Mum’s 85th birthday. Lovely service from the team especially Ace for his kindness and celebration buns! Delightful food. The dumplings are so silky and the fillings very generous and flavoursome. The duck was very tasty as were the honey prawns. Recommended.

Noodles had a great texture and nice and chewy. The beef soup was also really excellent with lots of flavour and not too greasy. The noodles are actually hand made in house which is awesome. Service was really quick and all the dishes came out pretty quickly. Lots of seating both outside and inside. There is a great selection of both soup noodles as well as stir fried for those who have different preferences.
