Renee and the team at Amaru blinds were great. Renee responded to my initial inquiry quickly and arranged a measure appointment followed promptly by a quote. As we placed the order just before Christmas it was a few weeks before the blinds came from the factory. Renee went out of her way to arrange a quick install date for us.We were delighted with the service and the blinds look great.I would happily recommend Amaru blinds and would use them again when we need new window dressing.

Over many years I have purchased a range of cellular blinds and have found the Amaru blinds to be the best. Longest lasting. They made a significant difference to my heating and cooling bills. A really good investment. And the service is amazing.

Amaru Blinds initially installed my shutters incorrectly. Though they rectified some errors, they installed it on top of the carpet after I asked for it to be flushed. They told me that this is how they do shutters and that it wasn’t possible to make it flushed. The sliding door tracks were installed with double sided tape instead of drilled so they ended up coming loose within a year. They installed the sliding door without allowing enough space for the blades to be open when sliding. This was annoying as I had to make sure I closed all the blinds properly or it would be damaged when opening. To compensate for the errors, they offered to install a small shutter above my bed. While this was a nice gesture, I later discovered that it was also not installed properly. After multiple attempts of raising my concerns, not much was done and I kept being told that this was right. So I found a company who were able to fix all the errors they said could not be fixed. It ended up costing me an extra $1,500 but it’s finally done how I wanted it to be.The company that fixed the shutter installation pointed out multiple issues including:- further cracks that were hidden out of sight- the headboard was dipping due to the weight and no bracket on top to hold it up- parts not gap filled and,- screws installed to the point where there were cracks around it.Very disappointing that Amaru could not own up to all of these mistakes. I have sent them email outlining all of this and I have not heard anything back.I know some people who have had standard blinds installed fine by Amaru. However if you are looking to get shutters I would not recommend Amaru. It’s been a year and a half of drama for something that’s very expensive. I want to make sure others are aware of this before making the decision to go with Amaru.

Have utilised Amaru blinds on a few occasions for roller blinds and sunscreens and they have always been professional and value for money. Would recommend, especially if you are looking at automation of these. Will use again.

I am so pleased with my new honeycomb blinds and they made an immediate thermal improvement on cold Canberra nights. Amaru offered an extremely competitive quote. They were friendly and efficient along with a professional installation service. The blinds were delivered well within the expected timeframe. Very happy so far.
