Does not pay suppliers, now gone to ground not answering call, text or emails. Owes families deposits, not a nice human, let all his office staff go in jan 2023,

We chose them to be our builder after seeing an incredible home they had built in Upper Coomera Tree View".They were able to successfully implement the luxury look finishes of Tree View into our first home and I couldn't be happier!Art of Homes made the process of building our first home a breeze and I would (and will) choose them to build all our future homes."

Unpaid invoice from work completed in November 2023. Will not return any form of communication

Recommend a license and insurance check before speaking with art of homes/lantis/sunfox or whichever other name they tell you they operate under.

Corey , Rachelle and the team at At of homes are great from design to build there on it no mucking around Tina was great always giving updates, Chris making things happen and showing us around every stage , AND you don’t get this with big end of town builder , the owner yes that’s right the owner of Art of homes keeping in touch and making regular visits, we feel like a part of the family and can’t recommend Corey and Rachelle and the team enough if your looking to build make sure to give them a call Corey’s Knowledge on building as specially on tight areas is great he take a can do approach and makes it happen nothing is impossible, thank you Corey and Rachelle

Putrid company to deal with besides the fact they kept delaying everything and finding every reason under the sun to not build, they have now cancelled the entire build and won’t give back deposits people have paid, FAMILIES have paid. Some as high as 50k and 14k that we know of so far. They’re a scamming company

We had our home built with Hotondo Homes Helensvale before they became Art of Homes. Unfortunately we decided to build just as COVID hit which ended up delaying things more than we anticipated. We are very happy with our new home. Just disappointed in the lack of communication from staff members. We are still waiting for our replacement rangehood to be installed a year after it was pointed out that it had been damaged on installation. We still have paint overspray on windows. I had to fix the bath that was leaking. We could not even get accurate drawings of the plumbing in the yard due to the hand drawn sketches that were submitted to the council. If the communication was better then I would probably recommend Art of Homes.

I can’t believe that you can take peoples hard earned deposits off them after YOU cancel their contracts! Also the money you owe contractors ect, just pay people what you owe them! Absolutely disgracefulYou should be so ashamed of yourself!

PLEASE AVOID ART OF HOMES AT ALL COSTS. They have just last week cancelled our build contract after signing it 13 months ago. Corey, the owner, has refused to refund our 10% deposit of $48,000 despite him not even being allowed to request the funds as he didn’t have home builders warranty insurance for our job.There are also 6 other jobs that Corey has cancelled in NSW that have all paid their 10% like us & they also have not yet had a refund. Along with that, there are a number of jobs that are part way through a build that have had radio silence from the company since before Christmas.We are all paying rent & mortgages & it is crippling us.HOW CAN SOMEONE DO THIS?!! DO NOT TOUCH THEM & TELL EVERYONE TO AVOID THEM TOO!

BEWARE. Art of Homes are refusing to give deposit money back to numerous customers after cancelling their contracts! Just absolutely disgusting. Refuse to give 50k deposit back to one family who spent the last 2.5 years planning their build with them and now another customer has told me he has lost his 14k deposit all thanks to ART OF HOMES too. You should be totally ashamed of yourselves 'Art of Homes' aka Hotondo homes. How can you sleep at night knowing you are doing this? Ripping off so many people? What's sad is that one of these customers actually rooted for you guys from the rooftops for people to build with your company ever since you were Hotondo and then you go and slap them in the face like this??? Just heartless, greedy and downright cruel. These are people's lives you are messing with.
