The Stainless Shop

I have been using this store for a number of years now and the staff have always been pretty helpful. Today I walked in asked for 10x M8 bolts & washers.I was given the price - $24.21... I expected that, they are always overpriced. However when the EFTPOS amount came up, they had added 50 cents. This is to cover to fees being charged by the bank they said.Paying for bank fees on a competitively priced product and knowing about it up front is one thing - being surreptitiously charged on an overpriced product and no record of it on the invoice seems very suspect.

The staff at the stainless shop are very friendly helpful and and a wealth of knowledge. I have delt with these guys quite afew times and always a pleasure and they have everything you need.Only down side is it can be hard to park at times

What DREADFUL DREADFUL customer service.FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY YOUR STAINLESS BITSI visited the shop today with a list of 5 different screws/bolts totalling 20 pieces I was wantingThere was no cars in the car park and there was no one else in the shop.I gave the person behind the counter the list of what I was wanting and he told me in a abrupt manner to leave the list and he’ll ring me when it’s ready ?????Are you seriouuuuuuus it was only 5 different pieces totalling 20 all up.I told him I’ve come up from the far South coast to buy them. ( 4hr drive)His response was shop online ( really) what happened to good old CUSTOMER SERVICE??I told him the postage will cost more then the 20 pieces I’m wanting.Still his response was shop online.WHY DO YOU HAVE A SHOP FRONT WHEN YOU TURN PEOPLE AWAY

A great range of products! If its made out of stainless steel these guys will have it, or know where to get it. Definitely my first choice of suppliers.

Probably the worst retail experience of my life. Came in at around 20 mins before closing time, there were 3 staff who were chatting amongst themselves watching me trying to search for particular parts for my boat. One guy finally drifted over looking at his watch on the way and just stood there waiting for me to ask a question. When my requirements looked like it was going to take a bit of time, the interaction between us fell away and I felt a sense of rejection. Another guy came over to try and hurry up the process and clearly had a position that they all wanted to go home. I realised I wasn't going to conduct any business and left, knowing I wouldn't be back - ever

The Stainless Shop provide fantastic service with a technically skilled customer service team, supported by comprehensive stock of quality parts. They also stock a range of Arctic Steel strainers, which I would thoroughly recommend.

I ordered a 3d printer brace kit (SWD3) and am very pleased with it. Australia Post lost the first one for a long time and The Stainless Shop sent another at their expense. I'm very impressed.

Purchased online, but didn’t receive a confirmation email. Rang to confirm order. Got a quick and friendly response to say order had already been shipped. Would have been 5 stars if emails had been received for; Order Confirmation, Invoice and then Shipment. Suggest the web designer modify the order process to include email updates. Otherwise excellent website.
