Armidale Taxis

Was worried as I could not do a booking for 5:30 am to airport. Was advice to call when I need it. To my surprise there was no issue calling them at 5am for a taxi, which arrived on time! Had a lovely chat with driver which shared a dutch heritage. Arrived early at airport in a relaxing mood. Highly recommended.

Without ubers around your forced to use the taxi service, its mostly fine and prompt - but if you use the app, expect to get picked up by a taxi then getting a message later you never showed up and you were picked up by another one.They need better infrastructure or be prepared to move over for newer services

Quick service. Their customer service is appreciative. Quick response on phone. Gets to you on the time given to you. I bit expensive then uber but can expect anything more in a rural place like Armidale.

They arrived 17 minutes later than our booking. No excuse other than they took another customer. Not apologetic either. Charged me extra as I ran in to drop my suitcases. If only I could charge them for myself waiting and the anxiety it caused as so nearly missed my flight home. Not impressed with this. Two stars and not zero, as the booking process itself was easy.

Always going over the speed limits and driving like a crazy. I do not care about you to finish early my ride so you can pick up other clients. Safety first!And way too overpriced.

In Armidale it is so hard to commute. I booked a taxi 45mins before for 8:15am and yet the taxi didn’t come one time. Mornings can be busy and that’s understandable but why do we book a taxi if it’s not going to come on time. On calling the company they told me there is a wait of 20mins minimum, i mean are you kidding!!! I booked a taxi and yet it’s late. I am again late for my work and this happens very frequently. Booking is advance is useless, they are going to come according to their convenience. It’s very frustrating but unfortunately you are helpless in Armidale.

Booked a maxi online at around 8pm for a pickup at 9:20pm. As 9:20pm arrived there was no taxi, which we politely called up asking for an ETA with the same answer, you are next in que". This was the same reply we were given over the course of the next hour and a half or so. As 11pm came around we decided that the 4-5 calls had been a waste and we decided to cancel the taxi. I have used this service many times before with issues such as this. I can't fault the actual drivers as they are always polite and efficient

I contacted the Taxi Company and ordered a cab with specific instructions for the telephone operator to tell the cab driver to ring me on approach in case he got lost. That did not happen. I saw the cab drive down one road wait and then left . I rang again and told the operator that the driver has to ring me for instructions on how to get to where I was .she said she would send a text!. I rang again and said to the operator that she must call him on his mobile and tell him to call me as per my original request. Finally the cab arrived. Lovely driver who explained that she had not given him my mobile number and had to ring snd ask for it. How simple is it to follow a customers instruction? The operator obviously has no idea

Booked taxi over the phone, still nothing 30 mins after pick-up time. Tried calling, on hold with no answer. Couldn't use app as it's completely broken. Waited at pick up point for half an hour in the cold for nothing. No call, no message, no apology. Ended up walking 4k to pick up my car from a service.7Really poor customer service and not the first time. Bring Uber to Armidale.

Not enough drivers on early mornings causing a wait time of over 40minutes even using app.
