Goldstar Service and Repair

I recently purchased a 21ft maverick and the lead up to purchasing the van Brian from goldstar rv in old Reynella SA was helpful until I purchased then I had no contact no information regarding when it would be ready..I finally make the 10hr trip to adelaide and the hand over was disgusting! I was not shown how everything works I was basically shown where everything was in 5 min... nothing had been tested to be sure that it was ready to leave the yard.. I asked Brian if the diesel heater had been tested and was told yes but could not smell diesel at all in the tank.Upon leaving the yard I went to set up at a caravan park in adelaide and I could not get the diesel heater working I could not get the instant gas hot water system to ignite and my fresh water tanks leaking from the bungs .. I tried calling Brian numerous times and sent messages regarding my problems with no response what so ever..Once home I went through the van to find has ends of screws coming through the high gloss cabinetry a deep scratch on trim and a deep scratch in the vinyl flooring..I have again tried to contact Brian and still a week later waiting for a reply..I have finally got a response from Maria in service and warranty and I'm waiting to see if they will fix these issues ASAP..All in all I like the van but the after sales service is poor and if you are thinking about buying a goldstar I highly recommend you do not deal with Brian at all and make sure that you go through the van with a fine tooth comb before leaving the yard.Eddie the finance guy I could not recommend highly enough and if it wasn't for this legend I would still be trying to get a response from goldstar.. He was very helpful and is helping with my current issues.If goldstar rv come to the party and fix these issues I will most likely change my 1 star rating/review..I will update everyone with my progress as soon as I have heard from the goldstar rv team and find out what they are going to do with these problems..

Eddie the salesman is fantastic, honest, respectful and trustworthy, if you want someone to talk to about purchasing vans highly recommend him. His very proactive in achieving what van suits you. We love our Van.. Thanks Eddie.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Brij and the Goldstar RV team were fantastic from first contact to delivery. We received excellent sales advice and after-sales service. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to by a caravan.

This was our first experience in buying a caravan and we did our homework, checked out a lot of vans all different makes and models.We are in WA and when we came across the Gold Star models we really didn’t want to buy without inspection. Brij was amazing he made it possible for us to be able to see the van we wanted before committing. He made our purchase absolutely seemless. His knowledge about the product, the customer service and after care was impeccable. My husband drove to SA to pick up the van and Brij kept in contact with him regularly both ways to make sure he was going ok and had no dramas. I would recommend talking to Brij if you are in the market for a new van because our experience was top notch! Purchased our 20ft Transforma from Brian and the Goldstar team this month. We have been extremely happy with our van. The quality of the fixtures inside is excellent, with appliances being top brands and properly fitted/placed. We had been looking for over a year for the right van and this one is absolutely perfect. If your looking for a family van with bunks, don’t look anywhere else. The 20ft transforma is the best van you will find, and under $60,000 it’s incredible value. All the extras you get charged at other dealers are added at no cost from Goldstar. Dual gas bottles, stone guard, tool boxes, sound system, dual battery system, solar panels, reversing camera. The list goes on. Best value. Highly recommend.

This company won’t stop calling me after enquiring about there range almost 2 years ago! I keep telling them to remove me from there data base but they keep calling me wasting my time. I just received a voice mail from them 2 minutes ago. Do not waste your time in my opinion. They can’t stop harassing people so what is there customer service like!?!?! Do not recommend giving them your details!

Thanks to Eddie and Brian for helping us buy our first caravan, at Golden Star in Old Reynella. All the staff went above and beyond to treat us like family and help by going through what will best suite my car and my family’s needs. Customer support was first class, and they went out of their way to help us with things that most would make us work out alone, we are so thankful for their help. We went with a maverick caravan and cannot praise it enough, for us it is perfect. I can highly recommend going and having a talk with them. Cannot rave enough about the customer service and absolute welcoming atmosphere at Golden Star. Thank you so much guys.

I got my Goldstar RV Caravan 12th May 2016. I cannot fault Goldstar RV. Any time there has been a Warranty issue they have bent over Backwards to fix it.I got my Van back from Goldstar RV. I could not be more pleased. They just done everything to my Van. They re- did the Electricals, Cladding and anything else they could find that was a problem. I asked them to do a few extras which I negotiated a price. They done what I asked and when I asked to pay for it. The reply from Petra you have been such a good and understanding customer there will be no charge". Shane rang me on numerous occasions telling me what they were doing. Shane and Petra and Management of Goldstar RV could not do enough for me.If your buying a New Van all Manufacturers use Australian and imported Parts. The difference between the Manufacturer's is there Warranty. This is where Goldstar RV excell. I am very glad I brought a Goldstar RV and I would highly recommend anyone to look at their Vans. Goldstar RV are a Credit to Recreational Vehicle Industry."

My Fiance and I purchased a lemon from them. It was sold as brand new. It was delivered with a lot of damage. The company has been giving us the run around and yet to tell us how they are going to fix our issues. It has been a month and a half and still nothing. Check out the photos of our new" van. We have over 30 pictures of damages."

The service while purchasing our van and the whole process to receiving our van from Jacob was absolutely outstanding. I never normally buy anything online and buying such a big investment unseen was very concerning to us, but Jacob put my concerns aside almost immediately. He always got back to us promptly either that day or the next, Even called us on a Sunday when we were ready to pick up our van up, As we had to travel over 1700 KM.Arrange two inspections with a friend that lived locally and nothing was ever a problem for Jacob.I've worked in the caravan park industry for over 20 years and have had to deal with a lot of people over this time and his customer service is second to no one, Thank you Jacob.The Van.. We are so happy with the finish of the cabinetry Very Cold Fridge, Plenty of hot water,Good pressure, Reverse cycle Aircon/Heater works terrific (a tad noisy) plenty of lights and LEDPlenty of USB and power points. Tows terrific seat on the road beautifully. We love the van.Minor Issues: We have the PVC to our water tanks leaking, But again Customer service from SidneyThus far has been great, He even called after Hours, we are in the process in resolving the problem.I feel confident this will be resolved promptly.Thank you Goldstar Thank you Jacob
