Bought a marinated lamb roast roughly 800gm for $19. Was mostly fat. Turned out chewy despite cooked perfectly. Terrible cut of meat. My partner is a meat lover and even he didn't eat it! Very disappointed. Very expensive for the quality

I was in asian shop, it is next to butcher shop,so i think why bother to go to Coles just for mince, so inwent tonthe bitcher shop near by.i asked them for LAMB MINCE found it was frozen kept imside the freezer, Goat mince all Frozen.GOAT MINCE I CAN UNDERSTAND its Because of demand and small market.But what about lamb mince!! its frozen as well ,i was thinking what kind of butcher shop is this!,or is it like this, everywhere in mackay? I dont have the answer for this. But again i was hoping to find fresh mince there,as they are butcher shop,so i can Buy and cook straight away when i reach home..disapointed..Again its My personal View..

Great range and quality. Pork belly is exceptional. Local and Tasmanian rib fillet is exceptional. I buy the honey herb and garlic sausages often. They're exceptional. And the service is great.

Best service not just of butchers but any store in Mackay. High quality and cheaper than supermarkets when buying a whole rump. Large selection for the adventurous with game meats. Delicious beer sticks!

Great little family run butcher with house smoked ham and bacon. Best value nitrate free bacon I have ever found! The grass fed rib fillet was a staple in our house when we lived in Mackay and the boys always put together some great sausages. Never had a bad experience here and surprised by a couple of the negative reviews, especially the ones that say they should have gone to Woolworths lol. Maybe they have covid because they obviously have no taste buds....thanks guys love your work and see you next time we are in town!
