During my association with Mission Australia Ringwood, I have been lucky to score Julie Stewart as my case worker. She is, in a word, amazing!! She always greets me enthusiastically and makes me feel special. Her interpersonal skills are second to none. She is super organised and has the answers to my every question at her fingertips. She has advised and encouraged me to enroll in courses that have directly improved my chances of landing a job and performing a job. She has held my hand when carrying out every part of my job pursuits; including resume writing, interview techniques, dress codes, best web sites and overall attitude. I have successfully gained employment as a direct result of Julie's help. She has even helped me with cantankerous teenagers and gaining sleep!! Looking for work can be very dispiriting. I have been with mission Australia for over 1year. During my time I have not only had Julie's help and but her guidance every step of the way. She has assisted me with my job interview training, wear for success and enrolled me into my CertIII of Education Support.She became more of a friend and during lock down she called to see how myself and my children were going.From my home schooling Julie saw it was a perfect choice for me to study education. She saw what I had to offer and really supported my growth. I will be sad to leave her but forever grateful for her placing my stepping stone back to the work force in front of me.Thank you Julie.

These people (who are supposed to assist ) do not call back when promised or do not contact after numerous messages are left . There is no assistance what so ever. Any wonder people have to be medicated for mental health, and are unable to work.

Definitely the most help I've ever received from an employment service, and I've been to 4 in the space of 12 months.

Rude staff, miss appointments by more than 2 hours and then refuse to apologise for wasting your time, unwilling to negotiate, inflexible in service provision. Stay away if you can.

About 4 years ago I was sent to Mission Aust.To find work. I was introduced to Julie Stewart and that was the start of my journey I will never look back. Julie brought out the best in me. She gave me hope and strength to back and study. Today i am working in disability and I love my job. Julie has empathy, compassion, patience and most of all she gives love to every client she works with. I could not have done it without Julie’s support. She is the best at what she does.
