Had bitter experience. Purchased Fisher & Paykel washing machine 8kg on Friday. Staff did not guide us on ongoing promotions, which resulted in we buying something at a very higher cost. On the way, we could hear $500 discount for a 10kg product of the same brand in FM and online. It was very disappointing, and we felt losing out for no fault of us. The sales person showed us Bosch & AEG, which was $2300, but did not even comment on promotions at all. Escalated to Eddy, the store manager. First, he could not relate to our challenges over the phone, but later, when explained in detail, he was able to appreciate it. Was ready to exchange or return the product for us even after it was used by us once. But, since we used it, we had decided to compromise, as it would not be nice and will be a complete loss to Harvey & Norman if returned, even though they are ready to.. I hope they relate and appreciate our actions in this regard. Was offered a gift voucher by Eddy for a nominal value. Not convinced with the rationale or the value, but decided to end the subject and move on.. Even yesterday, I was there and felt customer service was way below par (JBL earbuds section). Just treating customers equally is a simple request rather than provoking them. One salesperson said he couldn't read as he got dyslexia.. The other person was sarcastic in his comments.. Last but not least, I appreciate Eddy for his time and assure me that they would get this fixed and also advised me to meet him for any future requirements as he can work out something for us. Sofa shopping could not have been more painful. We brought a new sofa which was promptly delivered to us. After the delivery, it became a nightmare. To our disappointment, the sofa delivered was discoloured (we had ordered an off-white) and what we got was a sofa that probably had been in the storage for so long that from off-white had turned almost grey with various stains and smudges. The next two months, we could not get a hold of anyone at Harvey Noman. No one would answer our calls and if they would they would not help. We finally had to arrange a meeting with the manager (Jason) who refused not only to change the sofa but also advised us never to buy a white sofa! We have never dealt with more unprofessional and unhelpful people. Our Advice: Don't buy from Harvey Norman.

Bought a dishwasher last week and it was delivered/installed today. The gent who sold it to me was great, super efficient and didn't try and upsell me/change my mind. The installers today were so friendly and helpful, on time and communicated very well. I was super impressed with the entire experience.

Huge range of products with majority of staff having great knowage on products.Phoebe promptly approached me. Taking the time to acknowledge what was import to me and what would be most practical for my unusual lifestyle. She recommended a product and gave clear reasoning why she believed other items wouldn't be ideal for me. Thank you for your time today and sharing your knowage. 5 stars for PhoebeAna was great in the vaccum component of the store. She was friendly and approachable. She does need to slow down a little and listen to the customer more and their needs. Also offering to demonstrate a different vaccum, model down from what I intend to purchase isn't ideal. The vaccum hoses where a mess in the storage cabinet and it was clear Ana was flushed trying to get the correct hose for the vaccum I was interested in. Orginisation and illprepreaction def let Ana down today. This isn't all in her though. Management may want to address this issue making it easier for all staff to demo items when required/requested.Unfortantly I haven't been able to give 5 stars for HNF as the furniture side of the business wasn't as I'd expect. Excellent range with lots of variety with brands I'm formula with... But the sale staff where too busy chatting amount themself to notice I was interested in more information on a bed I had spotted and liked. I did approach other staff member regarding this but unfortantly she was unable to assist as it wasn't her department, which understandable.I highly recommend management speak to furniture sales staff and approaching customers. Even if it's just to offer assistance, friend face for the customer to connect with or actually make a sale!

Great range of pretty much everything you would want to fit out your home! Heaps of free parking, including undercover parking for those days where it rains as well. Stock supply and service has always been very good when we have been here as well.Pricing is general good but its pays to shop around of course. On the weekend they also had GE reps there for purchases on interest free which was helpful.

Needed a lounge for a rental property after an exhausting period renovating and landscaping. On going to the lounge area, I was⁹ blown away by a sea of lounge suites of all shapes, colours, sizes and price tags and soon found myself slopped into an expensive ugly lounge chair wondering what to do next. Just run away came to mind. Then, out of the sea of seats popped out a salesman. Within a 10 minute chat ......this is the one he said, so it came to pass and was delivered to the property on day and time agreed. Sure, you can shop around and perhaps find better deals........but if time is of the essence for me as it was in this case......I just let an experienced sales person almost make the decision for me.

We would like to thank Razi for his incredible customer service. We found the most perfect lounge thanks to his honesty and expertise. It might mean we now spend more time at home on the couch, but we couldn't be happier!

Very big and I love to find special price goods. I bought pressure cooker. It was discounted and reasonable price.

I’ve been coming here for years. Anything to do with furniture white goods, electronics, etc this store will have a wide range of brands and competitive prices. And the staff seem to work on commission because they are very helpful and attentive (even too much so sometimes).Here’s a tip too, if you decide to buy something there, always ask the staff if the sticker price is the best they can do. 90% of the time in my experience they will take as much as 5-10% off. All you have to do is ask : )

Unfortunately we were given the wrong colour sofa bed yesterday. We didn't discover this until we got to the coast and unwrapped it.The response we got when we rang to let them know was faultless. They were very apologetic and they had the correct one delivered to us at the coast this morning. Fantastic service,we didn't expect that to happen,so a big thank you for achieving excellent customer service
