Baby Bunting Doncaster

BEWARE if you are using e-gift cards that have been redeemed from one of those swap gift cards (gift cards that is redeemable at multiple stores). You may be profiled as a scammer at this store.I have always purchased baby bunting gift cards for expectant parents but the experience today in store while trying to use gift cards will make me think twice.I don’t know what tipped them off, was it because we had a baby bunting membership with them or the multiple gift cards (we had 3 of these swap gift cards due to the denominations that the gift card was available in) or the fact we were Asian or the fact I was heavily pregnant but the store manager decided to profile us as potential scammers and refused to accept our gift cards citing she does not know whether these are legitimate gift cards or scam ones. And that it had to be a physical gift card or one in our Apple wallet with the Baby Bunting image on the card and not a barcode (which is what the TCN gift card that we redeemed was). Ironically, their Baby Bunting e-gift card is a barcode!When she agreed to process the last two gift cards mainly due to the inability to cancel the process in their system (we had already put through 1 of the baby bunting gift cards we were gifted and 1 of the swap gift cards earlier with one of their junior staff who then encountered an issue with the system), she decided it was okay to express her disapproval that we had two more gift cards and why did we have so many gift cards. Noting that we did have to also pay using our credit card and it wasn’t all gift cards!This was humiliating and unfortunately witnessed by their staff and customers finalising their purchases as the store was closing.I have lodged a complaint to Baby Bunting as a result of this experience.

UPDATE: 2 emails and 3 phone calls later, still nothing. Not a pick-up date, let alone an update. Just a “we’ll let you know”.It’s been 5 days since my last email and phone call. Product waits are now 25 days and 18 days. I think the Covid excuse has expired too, especially when I’ve been told that one of the products is still in the Dandenong warehouse/DC.- - - - - - - -INITIAL: Asked to collect a purchase and was provided my product with a torn box. I requested for a new piece to which I was told had to be unloaded from pallets that just arrived so they’ll call me the next day to collect it (personal guarantee from the manager).Called the next day at about 2pm and was told to wait for a call. It’s been 4 days now. 16 days from purchase date. At the very least an update would be great. Nothing.What’s the point of trying to support local businesses when this is the treatment we get as customers who shell out thousands. Should just go with Amazon next time.

Big. Clean. Modern. Lots of varieties. Parking is convienent. Pricing is good. Wouldn't go wrong going to this place to shop for baby products.

Today I went to baby bunting in Doncaster Westfield mall with my partner. We Went to shop for our twins babies with no experience at all. We got a very friendly staff and. Her name is Vanessa. She shared her experience as mum and also guided us what exactly we need for our babies. From pram to bed to nappies the knowledge we got from her is tremendous. The best part is that after a while We felt like we are talking to one of our family member who guided us well. We just went to see pram and end up buying all important things for babies. We love the experience and will always cherish it. We went with bit stress and came out in relief.Thank you baby bunty you got a Vanessa, the GEM!!

Terrible store manager (older lady) who cost the store a $1500 sale. When browsing car seats, she hovered over me, I mentioned I didn’t need any help to which she told me she ‘didn’t want me breaking’ them by looking on my own.

Poor experience from this store. It was only a 5 minutes from closing time, we had to rush into the store to get a babysit for the little one, we were told a few times from different staff member it is about to close, sounded like we should leave even though it had not yet reached the exact closing time, I personally did feel sorry that we had to come in at this time to buy things, so I tried to be polite and quick, staff member Trent refused to check for stock and told us there is no stock and even if it did, it will be a different color from display, how is that possible? You are displaying items which is not available? I believe Mr Trent can be significantly improved in his customer service skills. It made my life miserable to for not getting a proper seat. My partner had been given me a real hard time over this.

Car seat installation on 30 May went really well. The technician did a wonderful job and explained in detail.However, I am still waiting for the installation certificate. I have not only gone to this store on 24 June to follow up, I also called them again this week to follow up and I have yet to receive the car seat installation certificate. This is unacceptable as the technician promised me a 2-3 day turnaround for this. It is now almost a month since my appointment.

I was to give 0 star for my traumatic customer experience but the lowest I can give in Google Review is 1.I picked up my online order with 5 items all packed into a plastic bag (see photo) this morning (24 Aug 2022) at Doncaster store. I was told by the staff that everything was there. After I went home and took a look at the bag, I found an item (SKU 115781) was missing in the sense that I ordered 2 but only found 1 only in the bag. When I called the Doncaster store that I wanted to pick up the missing item, I was told that the stock level" for the item was correct. It implied to me that I would not be able to get the one they didn't put in the bag. When I expressed my frustration to that staff

Had a 10.20am booking for our baby seat fitting, arrived just in time but weren't aware of the time allocated and requiring to have purchased the seat already (our fault) staff had a little should have known better" attitude at the beginning however quickly changed and were able to book us into the next available slot that morning due to a few cancellations. The car seat technician was great

be very careful when you want to spent 2000 dollar to buy a prams, because after you bought, there is no customer service. they will give you a email and phone number to ask you contact the factory by yourself. there is a major problem and the manager tell you come tomorrow, they can handle it. when you come today, the admin will tell you they can do nothing, and the admin said the manager who talk to me yesterday is a new staff. how come a new staff can be the manager? the admin today keep saying i am busy and you can contact the factory by yourself. that's so funny
