Avoid this place as similar reviews also report. I bought 5 items online an collected them from their warehouse. When I brought them home I realised 2 items weren't suitable for my small gym area. I contacted them the same day and asked if I could exchange them for other items which would have cost more and I was happy to pay the extra money required. I was told their policy was was no refunds or exchange and they wouldn't consider my request. The problem is the consumer doesn't know their policy as when you select items you are not informed of the policy, when you get your invoice their is no mention of the policy and when you collect your items no staff member tells you of the policy. Given I was happy with 3 items and wanted to exchange 2 items on the same day I collected them, you would think that is a reasonable request. I notice other fitness stores clearly publish their policy online and some say whilst their is no exchange they will consider individual cases. Avoid this business, many better other fitness stores available.

A couple of days ago I purchased a high-end commercial grade incline weights bench. I was really pleased that I finally tracked one down during Covid-19 times, even though gyms should be back open in 5 weeks.The friendly guy at this particular retailer showed me the model and it fit all my criteria - I asked politely if that was the best price they could offer (as I always do when purchasing a large money item) Was told they couldn't discount it as they only had one left and was at their warehouse around the corner. No problems, no harm in asking right? So I paid the full price, no problems.I followed the friendly chap to the warehouse and picked up the bench, which wasn't in a carton but super- heavily bubble wrapped. The wrapping looked very unprofessional.I got home and eagerly unwrapped my super dooper bench to find it covered in brown grime ...no problems I can wipe that off in a few minutes, but then I noticed scratches and other signs of wear. So I took a few pics and sent a polite email to the retailer asking if this was actually second hand or a showroom demo model.I received a polite response telling me that it is indeed brand new and that's how they come straight from the container..... hmmm ooookay? But I could return it for a refund (which is consumer law anyway)I politely replied that I do want the bench but considering the condition it was in I suggested a 20% refund and we should both be happy. I also asked them if they had actually received the photos and what they thought.They replied that they couldn't offer any percentage refund as it is already heavily discounted (by their twisted logic that prices will increase with their next shipment???) The item was not discounted at all and they didn't answer my question about the photos. I actually thought that my suggestion of 20% was actually more than reasonable and I was already a repeat customer.I spoke to a friend who is a retail guru in Perth and asked him what he thought about condition and requesting a percentage refund. He said that 20% was more than reasonable and he personally would have jumped at the opportunity of that - even up to 40 or 50% depending on the item.New ? What say you? My friends on FB think I am fool for not returning it - I guess I am, but it has certainly soured my experience.

Purchased entire home gym at this store and it's been great. They are knowledgeable, helpful and very welcoming. They have a good range and often have things on discount prices. Very professional, organised and accommodating.

The prices for assembling equipment are eyewateringly expensive.What seems like well priced equipment suddenly becomes quite expensive.At $125 per hour, and surely not paying the staff member even half of that in wages, this is not good.In my opinion you should not be profiteering off assembling the machines you sell - otherwise factor it into the machine price.

RAPT Lever Gym Copper + Supa Bench + WeightsWhat can I say other than this gym is the complete setup. Simply superb. Having previously owned a few different gyms in my time (M3 Multi gym by Inspire & Power Rack USA Force) I can honestly say this is the perfect combination of both.I purchased this mid Jan of 2022 and soon arrived at my door step a little over a week later, which I thought was amazing considering all the delays due to COVID, restrictions imposed by each individual state and the fact that it was travelling from WA to VIC.The initial set up/build took my a little over 6 hrs however was very straight forward. The build quality is second to none, and definitely feel safe and secure whilst using the machine. As someone who is 6 ft 4, getting in and out of the machine is very easy and very impressed with the amount of exercises that can be achieved with such a small foot print. The rubber coated weight plates are of very good quality as well.I would also like to add that the customer service I have received from Renouf Fitness especially from Fran has been second to none. Always willing to assist and answer any questions I may have had. This gym is amazing and definitely meet all my expectations and then some. To anyone thinking about purchasing this unit, you will not be disappointed. Its great value for money and offers a wide range of exercises for all different sizes and fitness levels. Thanks again Renouf/Fran.

Dont buy internationalA machine that costs thousands of dollars sold as NEW, should be spotless without damages. If damages arise, then a credit because shipping was also hundreds.They just started selling from a new warehouse in new york. Months ago I asked and they said they didnt sale the machine I wanted until later by June 2018. Time finally came and Caris, sales person was attentive. That is the only positive experience about it.Others seem to have gotten a good experience but its a gamble. If you have damages,a resolution is not guaranteed.Update:I received the machine june 11 damaged. I notified sales person june 21 of damages. My kids got sick. i couldn't be sending emails right away. SALES person Caria who was great told me they would help me with sometype of credit but then management took over and i never heard sales person again. they took over his emails.AND machine manual is not easy like they claim. Million pieces to build on a manual you have to take.your time. One piece, a bar, was so hard to out in, we had to put cooking oil to fit it. It didnt fit until that. INSTRUCTIONS are horrible. And my husband is handy. so someone who isnt handy,needs to pay to have it built. We work. It took time to build the machine and dents and scraps and badly made in some parts. missing bolts. I sent pictures as we built. But company washed their hand .AVOID ISSUESDONT BUY INTERNATIONAL. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES, YOU CANT RESOLVE.. SALES PERSON OFCOURSE WILL EMAIL YOU AND HELP YOU INTIL YOU BUY.Initial storyUSA DO NOT BUY INTERNATIONAL...... YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESOLVE ISSUES IF THEY INVOLVE MONEY.GREAT EQUIPMENT EXCEPT THAT FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY IT COST, I EXPECTED IT BRAND NEW. ARRIVED ON A BROKEN CRATE. INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT FULLY EXPLAINED IN THE MANUAL FOR THE MILLION PIECES YOU HAVE TO PUT TOGETHER. AND DENTS, SCRATCHES, UNEVENLY MANY. BECAUSE I WORK AND HAVE KIDS AND DIDNT HAVE TIME TO BUILD MACHINE IN A SNAP LIKE THEY SAY, I TOOK ME OVER A MONTH TO MAKE AN INVENTORY OF ALL THE DAMAGES. AND BECAUSE IT TOOK OVER A MONTH, THEY ARE SAYING ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM, TO TAKE IT UP WITH THE TRANSPORTER. THEY SAY DAMAGES ARE COSMETIC AND MACHINE**** STILL DOES THE JOB. *****YES IT DOES THE JOB. BUT FOR THE AMOUNT I PAID, I WANT IT NEW. A MACHINE THAT COSTS THOUSANDS, SHOULD BE AS PROMISED AND WITH FULLY EXPLAINED MANUAL. THE TRANSPORTER TOLD ME THEY PICKED IT UP LIKE THAT. MAYBE IT ALSO GOT DAMAGED MORE ALONG THE WAY, BUT THE UNEVENLY MAKE, MISSING PARTS, AND MANUAL, THAT WAS THEM. BUT BECAUSE IT TOOK MORE THAN ONE MONTH, THEY WASH THEIR HANDS.I DONT NEED A RETURN OR REFUND. I NEED A CREDIT FOR ALL THOSE DEFECTS. YOU PROMISED A NEW MACHINE THAT COST THOUSANDS. OF DOLLARS. AVOID !!! Still waiting on a refund from Adam Jeffery since November!I ordered the 360ptx via Facebook. It arrived and was damaged all over and parts badly manufactured ( bolts / pulleys )The pulley on one side made contact with the chassis. Apparently it’s a manufacturer defect on the product.I’ve asked for a refund and have been ignored.I’ll shortly be updating this review with pictures and videos.All you needed to do was communicate with me and get it sorted.Ignoring customers will always be detrimental to your business.

** MORE ZERO STARS**When Renouf Fitness made the sale to us, they were informative and charming. It’s when there were issues that their attitude completely changed.We purchased the machine on 3/7/21. It failed on 9/9/21. It was repaired on 16/09/21 with no explanation offered as to what the fault was. In just 2 days (18/09/21) it failed again. It was repaired on 30/09/21, again with no explanation of the issue. Each time, we were told that we had to return the faulty machine despite Australian Consumer Law being that it should be at the trader’s cost.On 03/11/21 it failed with the same issue. This time, we phoned and requested a refund. We informed Renouf that this was clearly a major issue due to the machine fully malfunctioning 3 times in 4 months, and if we’d known this was going to occur - combined with always having to drop it off, and the poor service explaining repairs, we’d never have purchased this machine. We were told by Renouf that this was not an option and that their policy was to ‘return for assessment, potentially repair or replace’.When we took the cross trainer in, we again insisted on a refund. The person identifying himself as the owner/manager would not agree to give a refund nor listen to why we were aggrieved. At one stage he inferred there would never be a refund and to our question of, ‘what if it keeps breaking over and over?’, his response was to keep returning it for assessment and repair. Eventually he agreed that on a fourth return he’d issue a refund. We reiterated that we deserved a refund now, and the owner/manager then physically took me by the arm, said we were on private property, and ushered me out of the door.We called Consumer Protection to seek advice, who advised to raise a complaint.The following morning Renouf called and said they’d repaired the cross trainer and that it could be collected. That afternoon, we advised them that we would not be collecting the machine and again insisted on a refund. We informed that there was no way we could do business with a company whose owner behaved so unprofessionally and where we have no trust in the product and no trust in the service of the company. Renouf reiterated that a refund was not going to happen.We followed up with an email of our intentions, concerns and request - and received no reply.We took some time to submit this review in the hope that Consumer Protection could have assisted resolve this, but the owner has said that as its now been repaired (despite us not asking for this), he will not conciliate any further.Anyone who has an issue with this Trader should lodge a formal complaint with DMIRS Consumer Protection Division and if you think they may be doing the wrong thing under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 you can make a complaint to them as well. The more people that do this, the more this company will be called out for its behaviourOur opinion due to this shocking experience is that for customers who have substantiated and fair issue with a product, it doesn’t look like Renouf Fitness have the knowledge nor people-relations skills to appropriately respond.

ZERO STARS**Terrible quality and subsequent warranty service. We bought 2 recumbent exercise bikes. Both have been terrible quality. They cost $1700+ each and are 'commercial' quality bikes. One developed problems 3 months outside of Renouf's warranty period. NOT outside of our reasonable 'statutory rights' period however, considering the cost and the 'commercial' nature of the equipment. As they weigh over 150kg I asked them to collect the bike, they said they wouldn't, never do and it's in their warranty info. This is in the warranty info on their site:Renouf Fitness® Cross Trainers, Exercise Bikes, Rowing Machines• 12 months parts and labour warranty.• All warranty claims are on a return to base basisSo even in their standard warranty they are supplying goods outside of Australian consumer law, which states When a product is too large

Went with my 94 year old dad to get a new exercise bike for him to use. David and Adam were fantastic with my dad and were suitably impressed that dad was still using one! Excellent service and great price, really impressed with our visit and highly recommend Renouf fitness to everyone...
