A lovely evening with a delicious ploughman’s platter and dessert platter paired with some beautiful wines! Attentive and friendly service and a very relaxing and romantic setting! Highly recommend for a special night out or date night!

Tannins is a very welcoming wine bar with music and a unique selection of wines and foods. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. The accompanying food platters are equally unique with locally sourced foods. These people are well worth supporting.

First time at this wine bar tonight and I can’t recommend highly enough. Sam and David made us feel so welcome, food was super tasty and the pianist created the most wonderful atmosphere. Beautifully decorated, it’s a lovely space to relax and enjoy an adult night out. Defo go again.

Tannins at Torquay
We walked in to Tannins on a whim and were greeted by the lovely owner Sam. The space was warm and welcoming with comfortable seating and a sophisticated but relaxed feel.The wine menu was extensive and Sam helped us decide what to drink by offering her advise and a few tastings. All wonderful.The menu is designed to complement the wines. The checuterie boards are generous and the house made pate and terrine are delicious.I recommend spending a very long lunch here with some of your favourite people. You will not be disappointed.

What an absolutely delightful find. The shared platter was beautiful and the wine selection next level. The fact you can choose any wine by the glass, in a generous pour, was rare treat. Highly recommend an afternoon of indulgence
