Great place to stop for a picnic lunch. Good bird watching, water lillies are beautiful when in flower. Great information boards. Dog friendly.

A nice quiet spot to listen to and watch the birds. Nice flat walking path along the creek. Entry to area is dirt/mud same for parking. Start of spring (24-25th September) too early for the lillies, there was one bud about to bloom and that was all. Information centre said because of all the rain recently their flowering seemed to be delayed.

Free Camping just outside the town,from either direction, concrete pathways which take you past the river,with signs to read,and all very close to the town of Miles, nice place.

Great relaxing rest area, I let my dog have a quick toilet stop while I stretch my legs and it is always beautiful all year round.

Very unique place in the outback, good spot to stop. Be careful of the midges! Alot of them at the pond.
