Built with SGH in 2021. Been in for a year now. Very happy with the build. It was our own design; both for the house and extensive retaining walls. Really happy with the end result for both aspects. We have just finished a build at Sandy Point with SGH and are super happy with the end result. Our kitchen especially makes my heart sing. We are Melbourne based, so building 2.5 hrs away during a pandemic was a bit daunting but SGH were amazing. No budget surprises and within contract time. Yesterday, a very beautiful new house built by South Gippsland Homes became mine. Tyrone and Travis (site manager) were there on my arrival with French champagne, flowers, a beautiful cheese board, and those very special new keys. I can’t express my gratitude enough, but perhaps I can repay them by recommending this company to anyone who is scared of building, who has heard horror stories of builders going broke, who don’t know who to trust, but who simply want to deal with good, decent and honest people. Travis was in constant communication with me, checking any detail that I might not have considered. He presented options and was able to accommodate changes we made along the way. I upgraded certain things like tapware to matte black. It looks stunning. The finish on all the decor is top quality. I started the project at the beginning of covid. Supplies were short but they still had a really good range of bathroom tiles, carpet, and flooring. Their vinyl floor product is unbelievable- you can not tell it’s not wood; it is really tough as well. The high energy rating, the amazing insulation of the house meant that on a blustery wet day with big westerlies blasting, the house was quiet, warm and cosy. Not a draught anywhere. Tyrone managed the company through very treacherous waters during covid but we sailed through. The entire build was seamless, during very difficult times- that’s a testament to the integrity of Tyrone, Travis and the whole team at South Gippsland Homes. I love you guys! We will never, ever forget you❤️

We would highly recommend SG Homes. They built a 3 bed/2 bath investment property for us in Korumburra in 2020/21. The whole process from initial concept (on a tricky block) through to planning and construction was very smooth. Tyrone took a very hands on approach, communication with the team was excellent and we have been very happy with the finished product.
