DELICIOUS!!! Authentic Indonesian Street food at its best. We tried the Ayam Penyet, Iga Penyet, Sate Ayam, Soto Betawi, Batagor and Ayam Geprek. Loved every dish which was packed full of flavour and texture.Standouts were the Sate Ayam (the char was incredible, some of the best satay I’ve had in Perth), the Iga Penyet (melt of the bone), Soto Betawi (this dish feel likes a homely warm hug) and the crispy coating on the Ayam Geprek was addictive delish! The sambals are the real deal, with a range of flavours and spice levels. There were lines on both our visits, but service was so attentive and it was never too long a wait, we were provided with menus and kept informed the whole time.We highly recommend, a must visit! We are already planning the next visit.

Had a late lunch on Monday afternoon. Foods were reasonably priced, tasted good but can’t say they’re better than other places. Customer service was a little flat, emotionless, could be a bit friendlier. 6/10 for first visit, hope it gets better on the next one.

One of the best sambal I've had in Perth. Price was a little higher than others especially their martabak manis, but happy to pay as they tasted great. Their bakso was delicious. People were lining up outside and it was very crowded which is understandable. Will be coming back for sure.

Second week of soft opening of famous Ria Penyet in Perth, we thought we also joined the crowd to try their food. Came for lunch just before they opened, we were the first one in the queue, but it didn't take long for the restaurant to be filled up by the time they opened.Mum and I ordered Ayam bakar (grilled chicken) & Iga bakar (grilled beef ribs). Our friends ordered soto betawi, empal penyet, ayam penyet & some batagor.Verdict was we like the ayam bakar & Iga bakar, brought us back to the taste in Indonesia. Watch out for the chilli (sambal terasi), it's a little bit spicy but very tasty. Then we also tried a bit of the Soto betawi, it was not bad, maybe a bit sweet to my liking.Batagor was tasty as well, crunchy and the peanut sauce was good.Watch out that the price of the proteins don't include the rice, so need to order rice on top of that, rice cost about $2.90Overall, food were good but prices a bit high. But again worth to visit if you are craving for Indonesian meals.

Went there with my wife for lunch and ordered Ayam Geprek, Iga Bakar and Tahu isi as a side dish. The food is fantastic and I thought the price was quite expensive, but considering the portions, I don’t mind. The staff are friendly and I thought the service was really good considering the place was still packed with dinners. It’s a little hard to have a nice talk, since the place is still full with people and when they are all talking at the same time, you can’t hear the person in front of you.

4.5 starsNewly opened Indonesian restaurant. Busy out the door when I got there at 11.20am.No one approached me to let me know how long the waiting time was. Waited around and finally was approached by a lady server and she took my name down after 10 mins. Still at its infancy, roughly 12 days from its grand opening, so I understood that I came at the peak of people's curiosity thus the crowd and the shambles.Waited another 15 mins and we got a seat. Some tables have QR code to order, some don't. Our tables didnt have one, so we had to line up to order and the order line was quite long. The wait from ordering to getting our food was roughly 20 minutes. Which wasn't bad considering. We ordered Iga bakar (darker meat and slightly sweet) and Iga penyet (fried) with rice. Rice is an additional $2.60 each. Tried to order their ice cendol but it's not available. Loved both Igas, meaty and flavourful. Liked the addition of fried tempeh and tofu. The sambal was def the highlight. Portion was sufficiently enough. They were pricey tho. Both meals set us back to $46ish. Roughly $23 per meal.Would try their other dish but I'll wait until the crowd dies down.

Ordered empal penyet, ayam geprek, ayam penyet, batagor really good! The gado gado just average. The iga bakar taste nice but to chewy can’t eat it, very disappointed!Price on the high side and the portion not bad. Overall all good, only iga/ribs need improvement!

Amazing and authentic Indonesian foods. The sambal will knock your socks off. So just be careful with how you use it, I’d suggest skipping it completely if you can’t handle hot food well and opt for kecap manis instead. We had the Ayam Goreng Penyet, Iga Bakar and Sayur Asem. All are delicious and tasted as authentic as it can get in Perth. Chicken moist and tender, beef are well marinated, soup is packed full of flavour. The sambal is the hero star of these main dishes though. So it may not make sense if you don’t enjoy chilli.Prices can be considered a bit high for asian food but it’s acceptable considering the place. It doesn’t feel cheap or rundown like some asian restaurants can be. Menu and decor are well thought. So the higher price makes sense. Also, I think it’s about time Indonesian food gets the recognition it deserves. And this place has done it justice.I’d love to see some alcohol being served hopefully at some point. Would be pretty great to have some Bintang to accompany these dishes!
