I'm very sorry to say that I'm fully disappointed with the service of Sandsky. My land got settled in October, last year. The construction is not yet started. The most concerning bit is - no response to my emails and whenever I called their admin/reception team, I get standard response saying that they will get back to me but that never happens. Their help is greatly appreciated if they respect client's situation and be transparent & help them to reach their dreams in life. This delay put me in too much financial stress. I strongly believe that they take this feedback positively and help me to start construction on my lot quickly and deliver my dream home soon.Many thanks in advance

SandSky have been building a house next to our home. Not only did they cut corners on their side, but they dug into our foundation causing our fence to collapse over a year ago. After a few phone calls, and chasing them up, we were reassured (in May) that our fence and foundation would be good as new (like the way we built it). However, this is not the case, our fence is reasonable but not the filling of the foundation. Hoping we'd have our side of our house back to normal, we have been stuck with leftover gravel, soil and rubbish. SandSky have failed to repay for the mistakes they've made and our hard-earned money we've put into building our home has gone to waste.

If you want a stressful process, then this construction company is for you. If you to be feed lies and broken promises, then this company is for you. If you want to wait 10 months for them to add a 150k price rise on your build then this company is for you. Stay well and truly clear of SandSky Developments and anyone associated with them including, especially Partners In Property.

Throughout the construction process, SandSky was pleasant to deal with and was prompt to reply. Their estimated time frame was 20-25 weeks to build a small 2 story townhouse which turned into approximately 50 weeks. I was ok with this as Covid was around at the time, but it was a far cry from their original estimate when I signed the contract.The main issues arised after the final Practical Completion payment was made, it was difficult to get them to come out to fix minor repairs. Begrudgingly after multiple reschedules & leg work on my behalf, they came out and fixed some of the items which needed to be attended to across several site visits, I was understandable due to Covid at the time causing delays, etc.However, some items which needed to be tended to such as poor paintwork involved 3+ months of back and forth, followed by myself having to reference the QBCC code on what they have to cover legally under warranty, after getting multiple external reviews, SandSky sent their General manager on a site visit to look at the issue before agreeing to organize a painter. The Paintwork is still subpar for a brand-new house. But the major paintwork issues ended up resolved.My current challenge is there is two remaining issues 1) A cracked tile (Pictured) & 2) Rendering defects (Pictured) They are currently ignoring my emails only replying once or twice within the past 8 months.For a company which prides itself on quality this house is a far cry from it. I would not recommend SandSky to build your next home.

Loved dealing with this locally owned and operated business that values integrity. These guys have been operating since 2000 and continue to innovate in their designs, building and systems. Many builders would not even consider our difficult sloping block - these guys made our dream home a reality. Their drafting & building team made even the craziest of all of our wishes possible.

Bad experience, the house build itself wasnt bad however Sandsky refused to fix defective Silicone/grout work in BOTH bathrooms covered under the standard 6.5year warranty, qbcc said they were responsible for repair also which has caused water ingress and drummy tiles.The house is bearly 4 years old. They were also difficult to adjust variations at building stage and denied rectifying all present defects after build competition and within the 12month house warranty. Disappointing outcome and will be following up further with qbcc.

Recently finished my first home with Sandsky and they’ve done a great job. From start to finish its been smooth sailing with regular updates & quality work held to a high standard. Good service across the board whether it’s in the office or on site. Thanks again Sandsky!

Months, and I mean MONTHS of pain.After the build took forever, and constant delays... (covid I get it blah blah )We moved in to a non finished home. Bricks unfinished, paint terrible, tiles covered in mortar and nothing cleaned.Most defects are finished, yet one remains that they decided would be left as is. The general manager himself deems this to be finished home quality.Will never use again, and we are building an investment property as of early next year... NOT with sandsky.

The one coat of paint on my house and the lovely falling down retaining wall, and the uneven walls in my home wouldn't be my favorite things about putting my life savings into this build.... sick of asking for things to be done properly....nothing like the display home I saw when I decided to build with Sandsky
