I was surprised that Mercure in Albury is more of an express style Ibis hotel, unlike in other places where it is more mid-tier. Good for the location if you're visiting and will be out all day. The reception was fine and they have a restaurant offering breakfast lunch and dinner.

Location is very central. Bed comfortable. and it had room to sit away from the bed. The chef was not working the night we stayed but found something just across the street. Staff were friendly

Rooms were standard to what was expected i guess. Importance was they were clean. Location was probably best asset for this motel. Quiet at nights for good sleep. Good for business or family stays, with a decent pool area amd restaurant onsite. Plenty of off street free parking.

Extremely disappointed. If you guys are planning to visit Albury please book any other Motel / Hotel / Airbnb in this town. They are charging money for a 4 start hotel but this property is not more then a 2 or 3 star one. I paid $255 for one night stay. There was no dental kit, bathrobe, slippers. The shower area had no door so once you take shower the water is almost everywhere in the bathroom. The carpet was old and all wrinkly everywhere. Lift is old and wobbly.The reception staff was very nice and helpful. These 2 stars are only for these guys.There are plenty of low budget hotels in this area from $140-200 book them.

I have been to many hotels and this is the only place where they do not clean your rooms or make up your beds on a public holiday. Their towels are also wafer thin and cheap. Staff were very nice but facilities were below expectations so we left 1 day early. Definitely won't be coming back to budget hotel facilities.

Foyer is nicely decorated and hallways are modern but the room.felt more like an IBIS hotel. Simple decor. Also we weren't made to feel welcome or given any information about the hotel. Just given the key.

Stopover Kiama to Melbourne and was just the job. Great location. Clean and tidy. Good ventilation in bathroom.Cute view from window (Room 306). Lift sounded like it was getting a little tired but worked OK!

Rooms were clean and very comfortable.The staff were helpful and friendly.Breakfast was nice but bacon was a bit over cooked.

Large carpark on the side and rear of the building. Staff were very friendly and prompt. The foyer was modern and inviting. Room was large. We had a queen and single. Usual things available. Tea, coffee etc. Fully stocked fridge with wine, soft drink, beer for sale. Beds were super comfortable. Room was quite. Air conditioning easy to use. Tv worked with no trouble or hassle trying to work it. I must recommend the shower. Never have I had just a strong,powerful stream. It was so powerful and lovely I'd stay just because of it. All up the place was fantastic. We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that.
