Nice rest stop with a local history display

Wasnt open when we went there but the way the building is set up you can see everything pretty much anyway. Headlie's story along the front window was extremely interesting & full of detail. The statue of Headlie out the front is great.If you are interested in Australian agricultural history i highly recommend calling in if going through Henty. Pretty amazing that an invention by someone who left school at 14 & taught himself engineering, made the tools & parts he needed in the blacksmith at his family farm is now behind the design of headers used worldwide!Henty council also need to be commended for their upkeep of the park where the museum is located.

Worth the stop for some local history.

Interesting short lesson about harvesting equipment. Makes for a useful rest point on a long drive.
