Red Banks Beach
We thought we would free camp here in our caravan so drove along a very rough gravel road to find a sign at the camp area that said no camping due to unstable cliffs which we do understand. Would have been nice to have a sign at the turn off to say no camping.

Nice apart from the fact cars go on it. Ruins the experience and wrecks the beach for the beach nesting birds. Shame.

Absolutely fantastic. A great place to prop for dinner. Surf is music to the lugholes. Would appear to be a good fishing beach also. Will update on that later.

Beautiful spot, what a great section of coastline. The downer is your no longer able to camp there. So we came back to Port Gibbon which has great spots for camping. Only $10 a night. Be sure you have everything you need as the only things there are bins which are a handy thing when bush camping. Beautiful beaches etc.

Beautiful beach. Great waves for kids, though it can change dramatically each day. We had crystal clear waters one day and a bit murky with heavy chop and small rips the next.

PLEASE STOP HERE! I highly recommend heading down Red Banks Road and having a look at the view. It's beautiful
