Wollemi Retreat & Cabins

Location was brilliant, peaceful and was a great family retreat! If you are looking for a great place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of life then this is the place for you! The owner could not be any more helpful if he tried and the retreat was extremely efficient and clean. It’s a must for anyone to go if you are needing that family holiday, romantic holiday, or just simply want to get away. Thank you again Denny, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back for sure!

Awesome place for a retreat. . . it literally has everything you need to escape and enjoy being in total seclusion with its vast scenic landscape. . . Not to mention the place is super clean and has a wide assortment of game . movies . and books. . . It also comes with a stunning kitchen an awesome outdoor bbq plus spit adjoining . . . The one regret i had on this trip was not having enough time to crank the woodfire pizza oven only because i was too busy chillin in the hot tub . . . This place is a must stay and I definitely will be returning soon.

The house was clean and as described, bedrooms nice etc. Unfortunately there were no firefighters or kindling to start a fire and given that we were in the middle of winter and had strict instructions not to use the gas heater for very long, this was disappointing. The front door wouldn’t lock either. The spa and bath looked beautiful but again given the strict guidelines of use given by the owner just before arrival, we didn’t feel that we were really allowed to enjoy these due to the water and power restrictions. It is probably a nice place for some, but it didn’t suit our needs, and we found the owner difficult to deal with when trying to communicate.

Fantastic and tranquil.The cleanest and best appointed holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Excellent communication from the owner, he couldn't have been more helpful. Stunning retreat in a perfect setting with beautiful walks and plenty of wildlife. A fun family evening was spent making pizzas around the outdoor pizza oven. We will definitely be back and look forward to staying in the new rammed earth cabins.

Enjoyed the stay at the retreat. Used the spa and wood fire pizza oven. Stayed during feb.Would be a very nice atmosphere during winter with the fire place.Only problem we had was the fridge was a mess with yogurt and wine on the shelves. The main bed sheets had hair all through it. My wife spent a few hours cleaning the fridge and sheets. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

A true retreat - we stayed at the Wambal Cabin up high looking straight over the valley and river at a vast cliff of golden sandstone, with all sorts of birds circling and calling. This is your view from bed when you wake up. The surrounding timber deck has 270 deg views of the ranges. Great fireplace and BBQ as well. The bath also has the same view as well as the rainshower. Very decadent. Close to Dunns Swamp vis the very scenic Nullo Mtn road. Stars at night were stunning.

It was such a pleasure staying at Wollemi Retreat! We had the pleasure of staying at one of the newly built cabins, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful interiors and beautiful surroundings for those who are wanting a peaceful weekend away. Definitely will be coming back.

Really lovely and peaceful spot, stayed in Winyu Cabin and could hear the creek nearby and watched roos and birds from the loungroom. Facilities were top notch.

This place is pure heaven. The cleanest accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. The cabin itself was so well stocked with everything you need. The location is second to none. Denny was easy to communicate with. I can’t say a bad word about this place. It was magical. Can’t wait to go back

Great location, stunning views, the house was very comfortable. The kids enjoyed their stay, especially the hottub. Has good wifi reception. Overall, it was a great experience
