Black Caviar Statue

Had a beautiful weekend with friends in Nagambie. Great swimming in the lake and excellent wineries nearby.

Magnificent statue and Its a really nice spot just too sit and take in the view of lake nagambie

Great place to visit , have some awesome takeaway shops , kebabs, fish and chips shop, bakery also a great pub for wing and diningLovely walk along the lake highly recommend!

08June2020. Nagambie is a little quaint town full of history. Not very far from home(Greenvale) which is just 1h & 15mins drive away. First time to go out if the house as Victoria eases some travel restrictions.

Lake Nagambie is a great place to visit Swimming Fishing or Just relaxing it has it all Something for Everyone 10/10

Hard to miss - this town icon was erected in 2013. Puts the stamp on Nagambie as a premier stud farm for racehorses. Black Caviar was a serial winner back in its heyday.This life size bronze statue in full race gallop with jockey is an intricate detailed work of art. Don't miss the jut out lookout on left overlooking Lake. Plenty of parking all around but does fill up pretty quickly.Lopping off one star for letting the back hedge overshadow this magnificent statue - obscures wide expanse of lake backdrop & sunset glow illuminating for perfect pic. Also almost hides it from view from across the lake...

A nice statue with a great backdrop of the Nagambie Lake. It's a pleasant addition to the quaint town of Nagambie, and worth a photo and a read if you're in town. Statue is not difficult to miss and there is plenty of parking in the side road in front of the statue.A pleasant stop-off with walks to the nearby lake - worth a visit for sure.

The setting behind the statue was spectacular . The statue gave all the information about Black Caviar's bloodlines and racing history.

Good place to stop and have a look at the statue with a good view of the lake behind this.
