Be careful if you go there and English is your second language and you have an expensive and complicated bike. I went there today to service hydraulic brakes of my Lekker ebike. The guy told me it will cost me for new pads and bleeding about $40. After an hour someone else called me and said it is going to cost you about $100, as we should open the wheels and labour....He told me $40 was for just the front wheel!!! I ended up paying $90. When I paid the money he told me he didn't do bleeding as there is a possibility of a leak. And you should soon change brake handlers (more than $300).The brakes now working but not smooth as before and it takes more distance to stop the bike.I regret why I didn't take my bike to Lekker( they gave a quote of $125 for full bike service including parts).*response to owner comment: I explained clearly full brake service, and the older guy told me $10 this $20 that and ... it will cost you totally $40. I also explained clearly several times bleeding and I told them over phone is there anything about the bike that need maintenance??who does the service for just one brake?? maybe my English is not good, can you explain to me the different between service and repair?(It was not about money, It is about my time and trust(from now I am not going to trust anyone and you are responsible for that)!! now I must take my bike to another shop to do the rest of brake service? why you did not do the bleeding when I asked you?? why you charge me for something that you accept to do but you did not? can you explain here? you did the easy job and left the hard one??Please explain here for everyone why you did not do the bleeding???You also mentioned you said clear $40, ok if you are right why you charge me $90(first wanted above $100)? it should not be $80??? It is not price haggling (I paid you all the money before you letting me know you did not do bleeding), it is rip off. and please don't do that on other people who don't know about bike mechanically. brakes is safety issue!! you should not mess with brakes!!*for everyone information: the price for two pairs of brake pads is $20, and it takes less than 20 min to replace them.

They recently repaired my bike after an accident with a car, and I couldn't be happier with the result. They are my first choice for bike service and repair in the northern burbs. Thank you!

I quoted for my bike service in 3 different places in Brunswick and they were the most reasonable. They also reduced the original quote price after realizing that there were parts on my bike that didn't need to be fixed. I will definitely come back.

I always get really good service at Ray's I'm a casual bike rider and not very knowledgeable, but they are always patient, helpful and willing to explain. I'd honestly rather go here than buy stuff online even if it is a bit more expensive because I know I'm going to get the right advice and they won't try and upsell me stuff I don't need. I'd highly recommend Ray's for casuals like me right up to seasoned cyclists.

Excellent service and great to deal with have bought 2 bikes recently and took in a bike for a service which was supposed to be done by another bike shop.The other bike shop weren’t interested in the service all the wanted was my money.If your looking for a bicycle or need a service try Ray’s Brunswick A1.Highly recommended

I dropped into Ray's today, miles from home, when my chain slipped off and became wedged around the crank. I had just had my bike fully serviced at another bike shop a few days before. Ray's didn't only fix my chain but also some of the other issues left after that shoddy original service, and without extra charge. My bike now rides like a dream. I am really grateful and couldn't speak more highly of the team at Ray's.

By far the best bicycle professional in Melbourne that i can guarantee with my personal experience.I have been quoted $100- $190 to replace this and that at other Sydney road, city repair shops…Where Ray’s did it for $60 parts, no unnecessary parts replacement required.. bike is as new.

The only bike shop that would fix busted spokes on my ebike (it's got tiny wheels). The team were all really helpful, ordered the parts in for me, repaired it really quickly, and were far cheaper than I expected. Outstanding service, highly recommended.

Amazing service and Mike is a legend. Went in to get an inner tube and puncture repair kit and then was a little bit lost with how to get my tyre off to change it. He took the time to give me a demo and change the tyre. Was also very helpful when my partner was looking for a helmet to buy. Much appreciated and would 100% recommend coming here for anything bike related!
