Australian Army Tank Museum
If you like military history , big vehicles with big guns or just to see what goes on in an active military base, this place is worth a visit. Only took 1.5 hours to drive up from Croydon through the beautiful Yarra valley . Friendly, helpful staff and very well presented displays.

This is a fantastic place and if you are interested in Australian military history or have kids that like this kind of thing they will love it.You do need to keep in mind that this museum is on an Army base and you need appropriate ID, drivers license or passport to access the base and the museum.I’d ask the staff at the museum to talk to you about some of the history of the place as there is so much to see and the personal stories are the best.If you are a royal fan ask about the tier of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding cake they have there!

Australian Army Tank Museum
One of the best places to visit. This tank museum definetly ranks as one of the greatest experiences I've had. Offering up to 80 different tanks and a variety of exhibitions from WWI to the Vietnam War and more.This is definetly a must have experience and not to mention the scenery on the way there is breath taking.Do your self a favour and visit the Puckapunal Tank Museum.

I visit it in last public open day. I was amazed with the collection. I hope they will move to better and bigger place they deserve it.. Everyone was friendly. I was lucky to see Leopard A1 before it was going to UK and I loved Strv 103 Swedish tank.

In a word.... Fantastic! Well worth the cost of an admission ticket. Over 90 exhibits ranging from WW1 through to current engagements.The Souvenir Shop is well worth a visit, excellent range of items all very reasonably priced.To get onto the Base you will require Photo Identification.The Staff were exceptionally helpful, professional and friendly.Well deserving of its Five Star ⭐️ rating.

Excellent, a wide variety of tanks on display and an interesting museum area.I beleive it is also open on the last full weekend of each month, I went on a Sunday, Google does not note this.

An amazing display of tanks and machines that have protected our military and way of life. Well set out for all abilities, the staff are friendly and so willing to fill in any details. A short drive from Melbourne and worth the trip for anyone with interest in the defence area.

Australian Army Tank Museum
Good place for a break in your car ride. It’s located on a Dept of Defense property but easily accessible via the gate for all visitors. Just a quick brief and your on your way.The museum has some good history with tanks from both foreign and Australias local stuff.There is a gift shop for some stuff if your little one needs something to play with on a rainy day.
