Meadowbank Park Tennis Courts

Not surprised that Ryde Council has decided not to renew current management's license for Meadowbank Park Tennis.It is 2021 and current management still do not have a dedicated webpage for the courts or an online booking system for that matter. If someone decided at 11pm that they want to have a hit at 8am the next day they have no option to book as the club's only booking option is by phone. This acts as a great disincentive to all, from casual to frequent players.I do not know who will takeover the management next but hopefully they can do the basics right. Firstly get an online booking system up and have the courts accessed by electronic PIN code. Get a webpage up and have more details on what the club can provide for the community like:- juniors coaching;- adult group coaching (once the pandemic is over);- social tennis groups;- organised competitions both within the complex and NSTA;

Nice courts, a few uneven spots, but overall not too bad. Lighting at night is acceptable and the booking a court is a breeze

Now that they updated all the courts the place is awesome to play at. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because they took away the fencing between each court, so now we spend time having to return balls to other people. It is also dangerous when someone mishits the ball while we are playing a point. It's annoying having to stop playing because it's dangerous. Courts use to be fully fenced. I have no idea why it was decided to replace the grass but not the fences.

Courts aren't the best condition but if you're just having fun, they are more than good enough. It's very nice over there and it's a reasonable price.

First and foremost, Alvin Maple is extremely rude and lazy. When arriving in the morning, I was met with attitude, I was on the court prior to a tournament only to practice for a couple of minutes and was met with a rant. The office is extremely old and left with horrendous piles of junk and paper everywhere. Court maintenance is one of the worst i have seen, having dips in the patches, making it a trip hazard and bad for play. There are also little pebbles on court which should have been cleaned by the management in the morning, this again can be a slip hazard. The laziness and lack of care for the facility really weighs down the beauty of the nearby scenery and recreational environment.

Court maintenance is average. Paying the weekend rate you would expect better quality and well-groomed courts.Payment & booking system is archaic, inconvenient and laborious.The court manager seems a little aggressive & unprofessional.Surrounding park is quite nice. A lot of foot traffic & passers by participating in other sports if you enjoy a little more noise surrounding you while you play.

Great courts and facilities, plenty of parking, reasonable rates - gotta phone to book though!

Courts had rips In them making it a safety hazard and also the booking company double booked our court so we weren't even able to play. Really disappointing,

Great community court. A little worn but still a good. Could do with a bit of extra technology and cashless options would be more convenient
