JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa

This hotel is bit old, very small room. But at least the hotel room is better than the vacation club room. We tried both. The bed and pillows give me backache. Bit disappointing with such a price. Swimming pool is good. Breakfast is bit disappointing too, I cannot believe they serve leftover rice cooked congee, and it taste bad. Salad not very fresh. Also when I checked in , they double charged my credit card, lucky I checked and told them the mistake.

The best resort/hotel me and my partner have ever been to up to date. Exceptional customer service and care. The room, pool area, and restaurant were all amazing!! Would highly recommend if staying in Gold Coast.

Great stay for 2 nights, the staff was really helpful and met all our expectation.Bed was comfy.Large choice for breakfast.Awesome pool area.Well done JW Marriott.We’ll be back.

Our children presented us a seafood buffet last Sunday, then an overnight stay, followed by a buffet breakfast yesterday, all this to celebrate my 80th birthday on Feb 5th. It was all fantastic, the food, the staff and the accommodation. One of if not the best hotels we've stayed in, and we've travelled and experienced a lot.The Pacific oysters were the best I'd had, and there was an excellent selection of seafood, then the selection of desserts and gelato bar, were impossible to ignore.Thank you to everyone concerned at the J.W. Marriott for a memorable experience.

Amazing experience, greeted with smiles and kindness, stuff was incredible. The Japanese restaurant was booked out but they found room for 4 of us. Special thanks to the reception lady, please provide her with a chair to sit on, not easy to stand for 8 hours when you are pregnant, your staff is your backbone.My child had the best holiday, feeding tropical fish, snorkelling in the lagoon and jumping in and out of spas.Thank you and looking forward to come back.

For anyone who is a local and drives either an exotic car or a car over 2.4 meters and you want to go here for dinner or the night. They charge $45 valet for the entire night even if you just want to go there for 1-2 hours for dinner. There are no short time valet options.I’d rather spend $15 on valet parking for two hours and donate $30 to a local charity.

We've been going to Citrique for many, many years and our latest visit could be our last. The Buffet Dinner was an absolute let down. Minimal food compared to how it always has been. And for the price... Ouch! Our favourite has always been the incredible seafood and desserts. Ordinary prawns, no scallops, and what I can only describe as very plain and ordinary desserts. Sushi was hard, Fruit and Cheeses, basically non existent. Very, very disappointed.Our table Staff were absolutely beautiful though..

Highly recommend JW Marriot Resort in Gold Coast! The most beautiful resort my family and I have been. Great location, amazing kids area, great restaurants, beautiful breakfast buffet and the most friendly staff members.A shout out to Holly from the reception team! The sweetest staff member I have ever met. She is so friendly, lovely and caring.Thanks for all your assistance Holly and thanks JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort for the amazing experience! Stayed here with my hubby and 16 month old for 5 days last week.Overall was a lovely stay however a few things missing.Firstly for a 5 star hotel you would expect comfortable beds. Our king size bed was very springy with very little comfort. This for me is a major deal breaker!Other things like, limited room service menu, extra charge for an omelet and the disgusting BBQ smell in the evenings which took over the entire hotel where major draw backs for me!On the upside, very spacious rooms, extremely friendly staff, water and ice dispenser, amazing lagoon pool, cleanliness, were what made this place lovely.Other things to point out, on check-in staff were very welcoming but on check-out were run off their feet and we felt very rushed. Overall a pleasant experience.
