Sam the Paving Man

I have never in my life had such terrible service! Sent an email in November asking for a quote and was told January. January came and went and I called early-February to be told they could come end of February. My wife took a half day from work only for them never to show up. After we called they said the could do it the next week and they were sorry they forgot due to a tender". The next week comes and he is late saying he will send through a quote after talking about what tiles we could get for the BBQ area. My wife has chased them up today as we haven't heard anything back only to be told they don't actually do residential jobs and they thought it was a bigger area. If you don't want to waste your time then go somewhere else

We were introduced by Ben from Urban grounds and Gardens to Sam the paving man for materials. The consultant, Mr Aiman Aoun was very knowledgeable about his products. Instead of taking 1/2 day off to get to the showroom, we were able to sort out the details on the phone and with the pictures on the email. The granite pavers (Ash black and Honey Jasper) for our new driveway were delivered promptly and they are of wonderful quality. It was a very pleasant, quick process to buy from Sam the paving man. Sam the Paving Man was amazing to deal with when we did our outdoor paving. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The team of men who came to lay our tiles were highly skilled and a pleasure to have working on our site. Our finished job is exceptional.

We have recently completed a lengthy renovation on the interior and exterior of our home. The driveway was the final job to be completed. We could not be happier! This review deserves 10 stars not 5! Sam the Paving Man was the sixth and final paving showroom we visited. They exceeded all of our expectations their competitors, and sell the highest quality cobblestones on the Australian market. Yasna who helped us when we walked into the showroom has been an absolute wealth of advice. Her professionalism, product knowledge, and customer service is second to none. We cannot thank her enough. She is honest, friendly, a great listener and brilliant at her job. Abdullah who quoted our driveway was superb! His customer service was exceptional, he listened to our needs and cared so much about the end result. The constant communication he had with the installers throughout the duration of work is also worth noting. Abdullah is a kind, sincere and most trustworthy man. Mr Lee and his crew who installed our beautiful cobblestones were clean, tidy, most obliging, asked questions throughout the project and were respectful that our home was clean. Mr Lee is serious and cares about his job. The cobblestones, being a 100% Australian product, are of the highest quality granite and were installed to PERFECTION! We know that our driveway will be enjoyed for many years to come. Thank you Yasna, Abdullah, Mr Lee and the Crew for completing our home beautifully. We are truly grateful and LOVE our cobbles!

Sam the Paving Man is easily the best paving company in Sydney. Major projects include the Sydney Olympic Park and the City of Sydney. He's range is extensive and his paving team is second to none. Sam has been in the game for decades and really knows about every aspect of paving.

We received the wrong order and have been refused a full refund when Sam the Paving Man was unable to provide the stone that was ordered. We have found Sam the Paving Man to be unreliable, poor customer service and unethical.
