The park can get a bit busy on some Sundays. On one side there is fencing but on the western side there is no fencing. Some of the dogs can run out and get injured by cars driving by. I always watch my dogs where they run & play. I also pick up after them with my own doggie bags. The Hazelmere Park is still under re-development so we have to find another park which has fencing around. The Hazelmere Park will be closed for several months until the redevelopment has been completed.

Before becoming a park, this space was known as Seaforth Convalescent Home (1921-1946), it then became an orphanage, Seaforth Home (1946-1975) and finally a community centre (1975- ). My friend Jenni and I played there when were kids, not been back since its been redeveloped.
