I had issues here with a passport application for my 2 month-old son. They did not accept a professional photo taken at Ted's Camera, claiming that the photo wasn't good enough. They also found trouble with the fact that the photo was signed in blue pen, and required the photo to be signed in black, even though the application form only requires black pen for the form itself and not for the photo's signature. It would take a while for us to be able to obtain another signature, because the photo's guarantor was travelling for Christmas. While waiting, I decided to try another post-office in another town and they accepted the photo and the blue signature with no problem, as this post office should have.This happened during the NSW Bushfires, and this post office's attitude significantly delayed my son's passport in a critical moment of national emergency.

No direct phone number, mail sorting for boxes is only 90% effective, only two weeks notice during school holidays of uncollected parcels being sent back.
