Lewis Renovations and Carpentry

A big thank you to the team at Lewis Renovations and Carpentry. I needed my porch redone and asked for a quote. Aaron came out to check whats needed for the quote and I recieved it within 48hrs, job was booked within a week and I now have a a very nice, sturdy front porch. These guys are reliable, friendly, great work ethics and have the old school personal touch of the trades and services industry.I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Aaron and Ally run a really good team.We had planned our renovation and had the plans approved in 2019 just as COVID hit us. We had engaged with a recommended carpenter and all was in place for us to start a really complicated upper story renovation which involved major structural changes to the home and doubled the floor area. 2 years later after the end of shut downs we had only managed to construct the sub floor stage and the carpenter who we trusted had severely let us down. We now know he was way out of his league and was avoiding returning to finish and had messed us around costing us many thousands of extra dollars and leaving us renting because he had left the home uninhabitable. After waiting for his return and getting fed story after story we left our loyalty behind and found Aaron on google. After having met with numerous other builders Aaron and l met at the home and l told him our story and he sold me with the statement 'lets make it happen then'. We agreed on initial terms and good to his word he started on time and through himself into getting the job going again.He and Ally are great at what they do and proved to be motivated by providing good customer service, communication, organisation and above all l always felt they had their hearts in completing what they agreed to do, in a professional way.They run a great team of chippy's and their leading hand Tom is an absolute asset and knows his trade inside out. He and Aaron (not Aaron the owner Aaron the chippy) were able to see problems ahead of encountering them and thus able to plan the steps forward without things having to stop while issues are resolved. Aaron the chippy is another Tom with a vast amount of experience evident in his work. Van who is the apprentice is really enthusiastic and also an asset to the team and is a quick learner who is on the way to making a good chippy and is learning from Tom and Aaron so his training is sound.The whole team are punctual and reliable.Aaron was always accommodating to our needs. He was always flexible in many ways in fact and this can really help when it comes to staying sane through a renovation as complicated and demanding as this one is.So to sum up, at the end of the framing stage which is what we wanted to achieve in engaging Aaron and his team we have a structure that even the uneducated in building regularly comment 'wow, it looks really solid'. The frame is as sound a frame as I have ever seen. The transition points where the old building meets the new is as smooth as could be. The building is millimetre square and all the pitches are consistent and everything is as per the plan and where needed the boys can think outside the box.We stand at the driveway and look at the home and see quality work. Well satisfied we would engage with Lewis Renovation and Carpentry in a heart beat in the future..Dean and Anna.

Aaron, Tom and the team constructed our new Kitchen lunch area at Carpet World. They did an awesome job on budget and time. I would highly recommend these guys if you’re thinking of using them.

Professional and exceptional.Prompt response when I first engaged with Lewis R&C, came back promptly with a detailed quote, we decided to go ahead with the renovations.Aaron’s communication throughout the build was fantastic, letting me know when certain tasks were starting and milestones were met.The build team was great, I was fortunate enough to have a team let by Tom who’s experience and professionalism is the best in the business, the detail and quality of the works and finishes are exceptional. No stone was left unturned as Aaron and his team went above and beyond. I will be using Lewis R&C again in the near future and could not recommend them any higher.
