Storm Bay Bed & Breakfast (B & B)

Stunning 180-degree water view form up high and welcoming hosts. The house is tastefully decorated and with the amenities. Comfy king bed. Property also has a beautiful garden and the lawns are well maintained. Breakfast was nice and I probably ate too much freshly baked bread together with homemade jam. Some 10 minutes drive from the Port Arthur historic site. Only drawback is the wifi - from our room the connection wasn’t good; mobile data connection wasn’t good either. Will hopefully come back and highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to spend a whole week at Storm Bay B&B. Sylvia and Dave are amazingly warm, inviting and considerate hosts, and they made us feel like we were at home away from home. During our lengthy stay in Tasmania, at the end of April, staying at Storm Bay B&B was our favourite part, and the hardest part was leaving. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, the views and location of the place are spectacular, but Dave and Sylvia made it a place we'd definitely go back to! Sylvia and Dave are the nicest of hosts, everything was just perfect in the room. The fragrance of fresh bread in the breakfast room, homemade jams, marmalade and chutneys reminded me of home. The property is located in a very nice location to catch the southern lights ( aurora australis). It is close to multiple beautiful beaches, has a very good view of multiple bays and the hospitality of the hosts makes it just perfect. It was like I was visiting family.

We would definitely recommend a stay at Storm Bay B and B if you are exploring the Peninsula region of Tasmania. Sylvia and Dave are very accomodating hosts. We could not fault our stay here. The rooms (which include your own balcony) are clean, well appointed and have beautiful views. Breakfast was superb with homemade bread/jams, youghurt/muesli/stewed fruit compote and full cooked choices made to order. Our only disappointment was that we stayed for only one night!

We recently stayed at Storm Bay B & B hosted by the wonderful Sylvia and Dave.For those of you who may be looking for a beautiful place stay in the Port Arthur region, we can’t recommend Storm Bay B & B highly enough.We were met in the driveway by Dave – and he makes you feel right at home on your first meeting.He took us on a tour of the house, and we stood on the balcony with views forever….. he told us all the landmarks and the area from this perfect spot.The views - on top of the mountain from their home is stunning – watching the sun go down and the changes of colours over the ocean, mountain and bay, a quiet moment enjoying a tea or wine overlooking their beautiful gardens and property.The room we had was so well set up for a homely stay. Everything and more.The one thing I will say is the bed… it was the best bed we slept in during our little tour of the east coast!In the morning we woke up to have breakfast watching the sun come up over the most beautiful ocean, mountains, bay and gardens.Sylvia and Dave excel at breakfast time – you need to experience this for yourself seriously – homemade bread and jams; cooked breakfast perfectly done with so much choice; coinciding with great conversation over coffee!Sadly, we only stayed one night as we had a tight timeline for travelling north – but we will be back again to spend more time with Sylvia and Dave – in their beautiful home and to explore more of this stunning part of the world.Thank you from Steve and Kim!!!!

We recently stayed here, Sylvia and David made us feel very welcome. Their knowledge of the local area is exceptional. Breakfast was divine, fresh homemade bread and jams as well as hot options. Super comfy beds and modern ensuite. Highly recommend stopping in here on you next stop on the Tasman Peninsula!

Great views from nearly every window and balcony. Very comfy and clean rooms. Superb breakfast that will get you ready for the day.The hosts are happy to have a chat with you without being too invasive. They also have great tips about the area. Make it more than one night, lots to see and do!
