Not only did I enjoy & find calmness during my session with Fiona & Arizona, I continue to benefit from the experience. When feeling anxious I now imagine I am stroking Arizona’s coat & feel her strength & warmth; it relaxes me and helps me to feel stronger. I’ve always admired the beauty of horses but been frightened by their grandeur. Fiona’s explanation of the meaning behind horses’ gestures, & how to move around Arizona put me at ease. I trusted Fiona as she gave me options & progressed me slowly. I look forward to my next session!

It is difficult to describe in words the experience I had at You Yangs Equine with Fiona and her welcoming and warm horses. I was unsure what I was getting myself into but open to anything as my nervous system was shot.My experience deepened my connection to myself, calmed and taught me to take control of my anxiety. I’m now able to ground myself anywhere, anytime.I was so excited one day I text Fiona and said “when I feel anxious I am now able to stop, recognise and take control and how wonderful that I could then ground myself from what I took from the sessions”.I got so much out of these sessions not only from the connections with the horses but also from Fiona and her beautiful surrounds.Fiona is gentle, calming and her sensitivity, combined with her knowledge and skills as a therapist were exactly what I needed.I would recommend You Yangs Equine to everyone.You will learn to connect, find and love yourself again as I did.

I had the honour of engaging with Fiona at You Yangs Equine to support me along my self-devolopmental journey. I have had the pleasure of visiting Fiona’s property twice now and experienced the joy of her generous and kind horses especially Arizona. I loved the experience and came away feeling very uplifted, the property is so peaceful and calming, Fiona is such an inspiration and an insightful person, her beautiful horses tapped into your feelings amazingly. I didn’t want to leave the safe haven. Thankyou Fiona, (also Arizona, Ben and the two cute little Shetland’s) Not forgetting Michaela who is invaluable to Fi.
