The poor quality of products and the installation. unprofessional at all.not recommend!

A shocking experience with this business and its owner.Multiple attempts at quotation, measure and installation (6 visits in total) to install a single door.I had to call time on the final attempt after I found the door could not close and the attempted solution was to chisel at my door frame. I’d find it funny if it didn’t cost me $800 to fix.Ignore any previous positive experience you may have had with Alolite pre-2020, the new business owner & installer is totally incompetent.I have returned the door to Alolite but have low hopes of a refund, despite being promised one by the owner.The only 5 star review comes from the new owner.Avoid.

Absolutely disgusting service! This company should not be operating. We had fly screens installed over 7 different times by the same company. They were the wrong size and colour and installed very poorly! The owner of the buisness is rude and unprofessional! DO NOT HIRE THEM! Pay a little extra for quality and service!

Major issues on initial install - the front door and screen door handles were on level and the door itself wouldn’t close. I was blamed for choosing a cat door that was too thick. They promised a new door with a different cat door. Nothing happened for a month. Then they decided to use the same door with some modifications. The final install had some back and forth to get it right, but I still ended up with a subpar finish. There are large gaps in the corners, the door needs to be slammed to be closed and more, but at this point I have no faith they can do a proper job so I let it go for my own sanity.

I made a big mistake engaging these guys. I won’t go thru my detailed painful experience which I’m still cleaning up (after 12 months) suffice it to say that the other google reviews here of poor workmanship, multiple visits, unprofessional conduct, is not - I repeat, is not, a fabrication. They damaged my home banging door frames they were carrying into door frames & walls & left black gluey “stuff” on our lounge. They left behind a disaster trail. Every new product they touched / installed ended up with dents, scratches or missing components / bits.Their quotes may be cheaper than their competitors, but do yourselves a favour, their cheap quotes will result is dirt cheap, sloppy workmanship. You *will be* disappointed & dissatisfied. The term cowboys doesn’t come close to these guys.And yes, the owner will take any negative comment personally rather than objectively addressing the problem. This is perfectly on display here under various “Response from the owner”. The fact that the door doesn’t close, lock or there is a scratch here or there is not Alolite Home Products fault, it’s yours.Sadly, Alolite Home Products do not have the skills to perform the work. Sure, screwing in a screw is easy, the skill is only to do it once – to get it right the first time. This is NOT what you get with Alolite Home Products. The major disconnect is this - what Alolite Home Products believes is quality is NOT what most people believe.You have work done on your home to increase the value of your home, engaging Alolite Home Products will guarantee that the value will fall.
