Very surprised to see the reviews below. I had nothing but a glowing experience at this little bakery (which I can confidently say hosts one of the best curry beef pies in the state, I've had quite a few). I was greeted by a lovely lady, who was nothing but kind and friendly. Struck me as a very different curry pie - not just mince and Keens Curry Powder - but a very fragant, refeshing and tasty (with a lil' bit of bite). Oh and good lamingtons and apple turnovers to boot! Will be back on the next trip down south.

Worst pies we have ever had.Lots n lots of pastry before you even get to the meat.Only warm though and not even hot.Very bland.So disappointed.Oh and opening at 8am is the latest I've ever seen a pie , bakery ever open

Had an absolute ripper cheese and bacon pie from here - fluffy pastry, sensational filling and a good size. The vanilla slice was also huge and delicious. A great little bakery with friendly workers and tasty treats. Will be back!

Chuncky pie was ordinary, good crust and fillings but no different to any other pie shop. Spinach and feta pastry was really good!

I purchased a pie from this bakery two weeks ago, took several bites and found a large piece of solid plastic, 15ml x 5ml in my mouth, damned lucky I didn’t swallow it. I took the pie back in and told the woman, she looked at it and said she’d give my money back which I accepted naturally. No apology or nothing. Beware!!!!

Bought a few bread rolls and needed one set of cutlery for the picnic later on. As I took them the owner closes the lid and says they're for people that buy pies and cakes only... Like no need to be so cheap, these only cost not even 10c each. I try to do the right thing and support local businesses when travelling but the bread was dry and owner has bad vibes. The cashier was super lovely though which is why I gave the extra star.

I forgot how horrible their pies were. A year ago I threw one out of the car window driving back to Bundaberg. Last week I brought a 'CHUNKY' steak pie... It was just dry mince, probably not even actual steak. I ate around a quarter only because I was that hungry. $6.50 out the window again.
