David & team were very quick, careful & professional. Sorted out decades of belongings, furniture & assorted memorabilia, which was delivered to us, went to charity or auction. Bravely ventured under the house, which hadn't been opened for years. Left the property clean & ready for sale. Highly recommend.

David and team did a wonderful job of clearing a very cluttered and overwhelming deceased estate, as well as organising for items to be sold at auction, and work in the garden. Came up the absolute best you could expect! Efficient, polite and reliable, and went above and beyond to help us out.

We engaged Lighthouse Estate Clearances to help with the clearing out of our family home. Original plans were for 3 people to complete the job and unfortunately only 2 could make it. David and John turned up and just got stuck into the job. They worked tirelessly, were extremely professional and took the care to ask us if certain items were actually to be disposed of or sent to auction. David was fantastic from the start. We were faced with the overwhelming task of clearing out a house that contained not only my in-laws 65 plus years together but also items inherited from each of their parents that had never been dealt with. With his expertise, David identified many items that he recommended be sold at auction or through other means and organized for them to be sold, including many items that we did not realize had value and would likely have given away. We obtained far more than we expected from the sale of furniture, jewelry, kitchen and other items. He also organized for remaining items to go to charity or be disposed off. I rang David in desperate search of someone who could clean out the unit of a deceased client who appointed my law firm as executor, and from the start I was really impressed by David's professionalism, knowledge and personable nature. David could've easily told me to ring someone else when I explained the details to him, as it was a relatively small job and required him to come all the way to the Southeast suburbs, but he made the time to slot it in, and we couldn't be more appreciative of the thorough, efficient job he's done.I definitely recommend David to anyone who needs an expert in valuation and estate clearance. David couldn't have been nicer or more pleasant to deal with, and I was really impressed by how he could tell me right off the cuff exactly what should be sold, what should be donated, who in his network would be able to get the most money for x, y and z, and so on. He has a wealth of knowledge and is definitely an asset while sorting out estates, which is itself already a very stressful period for family members much less lawyers! He also managed to find some family photos buried in our client's things and left them out so we could pass them along to the surviving relatives, which I really appreciated.I'd also like to note that we found David's services reasonably priced, and he even ended up coming in under the initial quoted amount though we would've been happy to pay even more for the quality of the job he did - suffice it to say, he has been worth his weight in gold!We will definitely be recommending David to clients, family and friends and will be ringing him again the next time we are appointed as executors of a client's estate.
