Have been to this bakery several times in the past few months. Daughter loves the sausage rolls and mini pies here. Purchased a variety of baked goods for colleagues and clients who rave about them.

First time reviewing a bakery!Initially ask if the sandwiches where made fresh and I was assured they were.Went to the car to eat this huge chicken and salad sandwich. ! It was worth it. I used to visit often however, the owners have changed and the prices too. We bought 3 items and it was over $24. Over $8 for a pie and $8 for a jam donut is a little ridiculous.Unfortunately they also don’t display their prices with the items, so you don’t know how much it is, until afterwards.Disappointed that we have lost a good local bakery. Luckily there are a few other bakeries around that we can visit in replacement.

Had a cheese and bacon pie from here today, one of the best pies in a long time. Pie crust was flakey but didn’t leak any filling, pie base was buttery and crisp. The filling is good quality mince, with real diced bacon and a great gravy. Thoroughly enjoyed!

$5.50 for a croissant or $5 for a donut is far too much in the current economic climate. Consider charging less. I can’t afford your beautiful looking food.

1st December. 12.50 pm.Asked for two plain beef pies. 8 DOLLARS each.Went home and discovered these Plain beef pies had mushrooms in them. Some people are allergic to Mushrooms. This store don't give a Damm about food safety. The pies were terribly salty and the meat was dry and old.Will never purchase from here again. Terrible safety and quality.Overpriced. Thankful many other better and nicer bakeries around.Such a shame as the Asian people who owned it.made the best pies.

Ordered a Jam donut here today.Even though the price was high I thought I’d try it, 5.50 for a donut then a card payment surcharge of 6c.Went home for the donut and it didn’t taste fresh at all. Was dry and hard.Certainly won’t be back, I don’t mind spending the relatively high prices if the product represents it, in this instance I didn’t think it did.

Went to Samuel Street Bakehouse to get some brunch. Have been here before but now definitely under NEW ownership or have a new baker because these were the BEST PIES I HAVE EVER HAD!! Lamb and rosemary was simply amazing. A huge selection of pies and sweets on offer and simply all great! This place has changed a bit over the years but I really hope this ownership stays because they are killing it! Friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced for the quality! All in all unreal!
