Waterloo Bay Hotel
We went for lunch and it was just average. I thought it a bit expensive for what it was, not that anywhere is a reasonable cost any more. The menu is not extensive but satisfactory. I didnt notice any prawns, very unusual. It's a lovely old pub that's had many facelifts over the years, with little bits of its history scattered around the decor to look at.

Good food, small sizes ordered 6pm, I eat small but I’m ordering maccas at 9:25 I’m that hungry after the rump Uber eats 2 for 1deal- my son works graves so bed is 7pm n he’d be starving - yeah nah

Accommodation comfortable, bit weird with checking in at bottle shop, but understandable.Found our room, but bit weird again with a load of beds seemingly stored at the entrance, made it unclear if entrance could be used.Had a lovely dinner in the beer garden, amazing service and huge servings and quick delivery. The beer garden was awesome, really attractive and child friendly.

Excellent food and very friendly staff. Only change would be we took our dog but there were no signs to say we're we could sit. Very polite and kind waiter asked us to move into the bar area, we were later approached by a senior member of staff and asked to sign a waiver. This was no issue but it may be better to have a sign to say dogs are welcome in bar area and a wavier should be signed. If this had been up we would have approached a member of staff to sign the waiver before sitting down. Overall lovely atmosphere, staff were wonderful with the dog too (first time he went to a pub, so was a little anxious), and food was excellent

Waterloo Bay Hotel
We chose Waterloo Bay Hotel for two training days with our management team, and it was simply amazing. The space is exceptional and unique. It had everything we needed. Several rooms, a kitchen and bathroom. A very 'homey' look and feel and well set-up for both presentations and activities, with fresh air coming from the pittoresque balcony. Morning tea was abundant and served without interruption to our session. We enjoyed lunch at the Fig Restaurant downstairs. Service was friendly and oustanding, from start to finish.We definitely recommend for business related events!Thanks so much, team!

Hubby, i & the kids have dined here a few times and every time we can say, it’s been great! There is a younger floor staff member, named Hayden who is brilliant. Always smiles is friendly and has just wonderful customer service. This young man deserves a raise & much respect. Well done parents of Hayden. You should be so proud! Manager of the waterloo, this Young man should teach the rest of your staff how it’s done. Thank you Hayden.

The location is fabulous, it has plenty options to choose just few steps to eat and shop. I went with my partner and my 2 years old son. The place was pretty noisy but mainly because the main road is close, guests were pretty good and we didn't hear anything else during the night. I did a late check in about 4.30 so I had to go to the bottle shop and the service was just horrible, the lady was really rude and basically seemed annoyed that she had to do reception job receiving guests. I asked at the moment to book for a portacot which wasn't in the room and being honest I didn't even want to go and ask the lady for it, so we just slept in the same bed all together.

Used to come here quite a bit but have given it the swerve for a few years due to a run of terrible service (slow and meals not as ordered). Sad to say this does not appear to have changed - entrees/starters delivered in cardboard boxes and when asked for a plate for bones from chicken wings were given a plastic container (we were dining in). Pork belly was mostly fat with very little meat and service on a very quiet night again was slow. Steaks were not cooked as ordered. It’s sad because this place used to be amazing with great food and excellent value for money with exceptional staff.

Went to this place to have an evening meal with work colleagues. We ordered a variety of wings that were well cooked and tasty. My favourite were the spicy buffalo ones (not too hot). Drinks and food were very well priced. Recommend dropping on for a meal and drink if you are in the area.

Hot inside despite outside temperature lovely, 1/2 air conditioners turned on. 50 minutes for an entree (fried calamari) to arrive, and tables who had arrived after us (with groups as large as ours) had received and finished mains within that time. Service inefficient and uncoordinated - excuse that they’re “busy”… on Mother’s Day which is a busy occasion anyone in hospitality is aware of ahead of time and can pre plan for due to most reservations booked ahead of time. Food okay, nothing special.
