Got great Help from Alex in there, he helped me fix my rod I had previously bought in there and took his time to show me how to properly set it up and had great knowledge of his job.Amazing help

Jokers working at this store.Took my fishing rod in for warranty repair/replacement after showing them the fault. They kept my rod for a month with no updates.Called up to enquire about my rod and was told there’s nothing wrong and I should show them the issue. Was told it was normal for a fishing rods first guide to come loose because it’s glued on.Last time ever shopping at Anaconda. Your money is better spent at BCF or independent shops.

A larger Anaconda store that has a larger selection onsite.It's located in a group of shops in off Nepean highway next to a KFC Store that includes an Officeworks Store which means you can compete for car parking. Not one of the larger stores and quite often when you order a item like a larger sized coat it has to be ordered in from another store. Has a disabled parking area and disabled access to the store. I use this store and its online store quite frequently for outdoor camping equipment or Bar Bq supplies. The staff have a good idea of whats in stock and what aisles its located in.

My son Jayden (14yr) is into fishing. He decided to spend his Xmas money on a new fishing rod and reel. He thought he knew what he wanted but is relatively inexperienced, so we walked into Anaconda and asked for advice. Alex was working that particular day and spent at least 30min explaining all the ins and outs of rods and reels, different price point., general fishing advice, etc. It was fabulous to see the knowledge but also the time that was taken to educate my son. The next day we went back, and Dan was working, he was just as knowledgeable and enthusiastic. You can tell it's a great place to work.

They had a massive sign saying they beat any price by 10%. I showed them that the exact Columbia jacket I wanted to buy was on sale at Columbia’s own website. They then backtracked and said it has to be from a physical store. Not really sure how that would work. Do they expect me to drive to another store, not buy from them but just take photographic evidence then drive back?

Corey is the man to see, my brother and I are on holidays and weren't sure how to set up our fishing rigs, we don't usually fish. Corey was excellent, he took time to teach my brother and I exactly what sort of rig we should set up- and where we should fish and even what specific type of bait to use in specific areas. From spear fishing to catching small fish this kid knows his stuff. Thanks Corey for contributing to an already wonderful holiday, thanks Anaconda.
