BBQ Creations

I purchased a PortaSpit over 12 months ago and have cooked on it at least once a fortnight, camping, the backyard, in the bush, on the beach. As soon as you see one in action you will want one, they are compact and so easy to use. A few of my family and friends have purchased one as soon as they experience a cook up. I would say around 8 people have purchased a PortaSpit after they have seen mine in action.

We purchased the BBQ Creations Sausage and Kebab Cooker as a way of something different while at the BBQ.The intent of the item is awesome, hands free rotation and cooked the food very well.During the first use though many things were going wrong with the item.I kept it away from the flame as instructed but the battery for some reason heated up quite badly.The rotation was hit and miss and I had to hold the handle also as it rotated out of the locking area. there was no latch to keep it in place.The rollers also looked like they were going to fall out of the slots.Overall a great idea and this review is in no way a reflection on the company, just a review of the product.I have sent an email to sales so hopefully I receive a reply back soon.UPDATE:I had a great customer service call from Amanda who worked through the issues identified.A replacement is being sent out which should rectify the issue.Also, always read the fine print in the instructions :)Looking forward to using the product again soon :)

We absolutely love the food and make it a regular stop to eat, my wife today went for lunch and Alexis was her host, my wife BRAGGED about how awesome she was!We also love Dylann!..oh the food..AWESOME everytime!

Absolutely fantastic and brilliant product..100% recommended to all BBQ enthusiast. Its convenience and portability is a plus++++. You cannot fault this product judging the result of my creation. Whoever invented this product ROCKS!!! dude really what can I say...:)

Bought the Kebab/ sausage rotisserie....What a total waste of money, cheap, flimsy construction, the skewers don't stay in their slots and fall off so you have to keep trying to clip it back in. Of course there's no place to leave a post on the Facebook page...Don't buy it. I will be dumping the whole thing in the bin.

Love It! I bought the Porta Spit for my Dad for his birthday. Cooked Pork on the Murray River for family BBQ and it was awesome. Highly recommend!

Sadly I am having to leave this review as no one at BBQ Creations can be bothered to reply to my emails. Whether your product is good or not customer service will always win and sadly you have none. My BBQ has not arrived and all I want is someone to respond to me but sadly that's too hard. So I'm afraid to say I would not recommend you to anyone. Poor form!!
