Country Roads Motor Inn

We were travelling through, rang ahead and the owners were more than happy to give us a room and let us arrive later that evening.It was a beautiful find!Heater was on in room and on first impressions it was one of the best room we have stayed at.Clean, comfortable and the premises was well kept also.We have filed this find away for future stopovers.

My husband & I were very luckyto stay at The Country Roads Motor Inn in Peak Hill. We were welcomed by the Manager. Who gave us all the information about our room & where to go for a wonderful meal.The roon was spacious & extremely clean. If you are look for a Motel with a Microwave, there is one available. The bathroom is fuller equipped with shampoo & conditioner, soap & for the first time body lotion. The bed was so comfortable.Being on rhe Newell Hwy, you should have heard the trucks going passed. It was so quiet.But the best part of our stay was the two wonderful staff, who were so helpful & friendly. We will be using the Country Roads Motor Inn at Peak Hill.

What a NIGHTMARE of an experience staying at this motel! After checking out, we receive a call that we owe them more money (and if we don't pay right there and then, she will report us to the Police!) The owner accused us of the fact that instead the two of us, four people slept in the room. Her reason for this accusation - because we used all the beds in the room and that there was an extra car in the carpark she automatically assumed we had more people than we told her! We had only taken a blanket from one of the beds as the single bed was uncomfortable. We were not aware we were paying per bed instead of the room we were assigned! We have stayed at many hotels and motels but never such a horrible experience! And on top of all of of this - threatening us that she will involve the police. I would like to understand what the crime here was first! We would of had no issues if she had told us upfront that there are these many beds in the room but you can only use two of them as there are only two of you. We expect transparency.

After driving approximately 1000kms in one day , we found our self in a terrible situation with a prebooked accomodation, we call Country Roads Motor Inn and they immediately help us . We drove another hour in the night , we arrived exhausted but Jo’s smile made us feel welcome, she helped us in any way she could. The room was specious , clean , quiet and well maintained ! We really recommend this place not just for the accommodation but also for the excellent service!!!

Wonderful place to rest up, with wide truck parking. We were running late due various reasons, but that wasn't an issue, waited after hrs so we could check in. Room was spotlessly clean, and had everything you could need. Beds were really comfy too.We will return.

The management were great. I had to leave a day early due to flooding in my home town and was not a hassle. Nice clean comfortable room. Thank you.

We were not able to get accommodation in Parkes or Dubbo (where we were headed) but found this place which was an easy drive to either town. Such gracious and lovely owners and staff who were so helpful and friendly, and accommodated our needs. We are a large family and needed two rooms close by to each other and it was a late booking. Nice clean rooms, comfy beds and all you need for somewhere to simply shower and sleep. Great rate too! We stayed two nights. We are big spontaneous road trippers so plenty of experience in regional accommodation. Worth checking out if you are in the area.

Great value for money, dated but very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. Air-con, TV, lights and heater are all controlled from the bed. Shower head was nice and soft and bed was comfy. Stayed a night while travelling through. It was quiet in the back rooms and a short walk to the Cafe or Club.
