Chelsea Veterinary Clinic

Possibly the worst vet experience ive ever had. I took a little kitten into the clinic on Friday late afternoon as it was holding its paw up and I was scared it was broken. I was quoted $150 for an x-ray over the phone so when I heard from them telling me it's $460.00 and all the cat requires is pain relief (no broken bones) I could not make sense of it, nor could I afford it as I explained my dog has just been put to sleep and cremated, my other dog is sick and I'm a single mum. I went into the clinic today to be told the bill is now 575$ as they had to feed the cat over the weekend. I have never been treated so badly by a vet clinic, again I said I can't afford to pay that and the girl at the vets response was if you couldn't afford it you shouldn't of bought the cat in"

Really great clinic and wonderfully caring and experienced staff.Dr Zeljko has been fantastic in guiding us through a recent mystery illness with our dog.He has been part of both of our dogs lives for all of their 15 years and we have always been very happy with his veterinary skill and service.The clinic nurses have been such a support and have really cared about our dogs whilst they were in their care. Heaping affection on them when they were sick and giving them treats for being “good boys”!Highly recommend Chelsea Vet!

BE AWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS VETI normally go to Aspandale Gardens Vet but they have been booked out for the next week ( take note of that ) I called Chelsea vet that could see my dog today Amazing I thought my dog was in pain in the back leg I took him with my son we first sore a Vet doctor that wasn’t experienced in this matter and really pushed on my dog were it was sore as normal my dog snapped as anyone would he then throw himself back into the windows and said almost bit my finger it was like a movie seen then he told us that we would have to see the other vet that we waited for we then spoke to another vet this vet was lovely and told us everything Dr Zeljko thank you then went to pay the bill and told the lady at work he desk and she said oh well it is what it is and would you like to get bitten it’s like getting a doctor to do your surgery and getting told he can Stand seeing blood

Until a few years ago I used to take my cats to the vet. Dr Jovanovic is a caring and compassionate vet and . Support staff were also always polite and attentive. Today, I took a sick possum to their practice. I cannot describe how helpful and kind the two female staff were. Your attitude and professionalism is amazing. Thank you. Bulend Terzioglu

one of the worst vets i’ve ever been too, my dog a 3 year old golden retriever/poodle mini that wouldn’t hurt anyone by the way the first doctor that looked at my dog got mad at me because my dog snapped when we was grabbing my dogs sore leg and he said “he could have bit my finger off” after he throws himself into the window then tells me to go see another doctor, worst veterinary ever as he was not experienced in this field of medical care for dogs, saw the other doctor after that was really nice and explained the problem perfectly

Took my dog there for the first time today as I was not able to get a booking at my normal vet, I am quite pleased with the service. Doctor Jovanovic was very gentle with my dog, he performed thorough examination in the affected area, explained the conditions very well, and provided adequate solutions. He took a consultative approach when it comes to discussing treatments, happily listened to my concerns and answers my questions. I didn’t feel rushed throughout the consultation like I sometimes do at the other vets. I am hoping to make this vet clinic the new go-to place for my dog’s medical needs. Thank you Dr Jovanovic, Woody is feeling much better right after the visit.

Dr Jovanovic and his team have been looking after my 2 Burmese babies for many years. Sadly my 18 year old boy Fedele was put to sleep recently and this is when I really witnessed the compassion this team offer. A truly heartbreaking experience was made so comfortable for my boy and myself. I Highly recommend this clinic. Thank you all so much.

Lovely and professional vet. My cat was very calm and was treated so nicely she stayed cool calm and collected. Happily just waltzed out of the cage when home. Normally I would get the cold shoulder for a while. Really nice vet practice too - very friendly. Glad I found them after moving into the area and leaving a super vet behind. Relieved!
