The removalists were very friendly and made the whole process less stressful. They carefully packed our belongings into the truck and just as carefully unpacked them into our new home. When l got a bit stuck deciding where to put furniture, they were so helpful and offered some fantastic suggestions.I would recommend this company.Carolyn

Had a generally negative experience with CT Movers to move a 1 bedroom apartment to a new 2 bedroom apartment which was 3 Min drive away. Quote had been obtained and agreed with relation to hourly rate and stairs charges for moving the couch down/up 3 floors as it would not fit in the elevator.We had already moved boxes and most small items ourselves, leaving the furniture for the movers. I reserved parking bays nearby to the apartment lobbies for the truck.The 2x Removalists were 2 hours late to the job, arriving approx 3pm. They gave me a call to advise this on the day which was no issues. However upon arrival, it appeared one of the movers was not fully engaged and unmotivated.There were attempts by the movers to charge double for the stairs charges despite previous agreement with the ct mover office.Upon arrival at the new apartment. There was an attempt from the men to get prepayment, apparently citing normal policy to request prepayment 2 hours before the estimated end of the job. This was rejected and work only resumed after approx 30 mins on the phone with the ct mover office. Following this, the man became even more disgruntled and unmotivated. Phone calls to the ct mover office with complaints were met with apologies but no remedial actions. My partner and I were required to assist the other mover with moving furniture to accelerate the job.Overall took approx 5.5hours to move (of which 4.75 hours was charged due to the argument over payment). This was significantly longer than expected based on previous moving experience.Movers later told me that they were subcontractors, not staff. Their general attitude was to blame the ct mover office for not quoting the job properly.Would not use ct movers again.

I was very grateful and glad that there is still nice, friendly and professionalism out there. Could not have been any smoother than it was. Thank you and definitely recommend and use again.

Horrible experience.I recently moved houses and used these guys and I am applauded by what happened during my move.I was not at the old house for the move but I was told by my partner and step-dad that the movers appeared to purposely be moving slow in order to eat up time. They also took a break whilst moving and they didn't get out of the back of the truck to load the items into the truck. My partner and step-dad had to help them move in order to stick to our time.Upon arriving at my new address, one of the movers was smoking a cigarette as he unload my belongs, resulting in the odor sticking to some of my items.No blankets were used on the floors or furniture to prevent scratches or damage to my furniture, no gloves were used either- resulting in marks all over my furniture- and again, the movers did not come off the truck and put the belongings in the allocated rooms or even into the empty garage that they had reversed into. One of my blankets was used to protect furniture instead of the one from the company.Again, my partner, mum, step-dad, and I had to do all the heavy lifting as the movers remaining in back of the truck passing us my belongings and only got out the back of the truck once questioned why they weren't getting out the back of the truck.My furniture has a lot of damage due to the carelessness in loading and off-loading it.We finished just 5 minutes short of the 2-hour allocated time and I can only imagine how much more time it would have taken, if my family did not step in to help.I will never use this company again and I would recommend people to go and find an alternative.RESPONSE TO THE BUSINESS' COMMENT:1. I book you for a move because that is your business and service.2. I booked for 2 hours, therefore there is an expectation that the job would be done in that time.3. I had already moved 85 per cent of my house, the only items left where the already disassembled furniture.4. There were only two people at the first location when the movers were stacking the truck".5. There were 4 people at the second location where my family and I moved 95 per cent of the items OFF the truck.5. Your workers were not harassed

Absolutely amazing service. After having a different company booked in which fell through, CT was able to come out in a few hours and moved all our stuff in 2.5 hours. Could not recommend these guys enough. Thanks for a stress free move!

They broke our washing machine. The damage could not be seen on it until we plugged it in to do our laundry the next day and water started gushing out from beneath the machine. Scratches were also sustained on a table and stool.The movers were chatty and fun, but they also asked for cash which I found a bit strange.I mentioned to someone on the phone that we were moving a 4x2 house and I provided an approximate of the amount of goods we had to move. The representative said it would 'fit easily' in 1 or 2 trips max. It took 2 trips and we couldn't fit it all in, and had to incur more costs to hire another truck to move the remaining items the next day.As a professional removalist + having the information regarding house items (and knowing that we were moving from a 4*2 house), we were not provided accurate information, had to incur further costs + had our items broken.

Do not use this company. I had them booked about ten days in advance. The morning of my move (which was also the day before my house settlement) they cancelled on me. I had even paid a $100 deposit which I have never needed to do before for a Removalist. As you can imagine this was a very stressful experience. They should have found another Removalist and if one from there company was not able to work that day. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable service. Do not use.

Good and professional service. On time and efficient. Got my partner’s pinball machine upstairs without any damage. Movers also helped us reassemble some heavy furniture (out of good-will, not included in cost). Would definitely use again.
