Australian Home Brewing

They wouldn't send my order out unless I provided my phone number and ever since I've been getting scam texts. They didn't even contact me through email that they weren't sending my order, I contacted them after more than a week of silence. If I never called them first I bet they would've just pocketed my money. So don't claim you tried to contact me, you had my email, you have more than enough time and I never heard a word from you. The only emails I received were the auto ones confirming my order once I made the purchase and only after I made the call did I receive emails that my order had been sent.Never encountered this issue with a company before and with buying online in general. This is a reminder to people reading this to never give out your real number when buying online and that you aren't required to.Edit: You state in your reply that if my email bounces or if my phone doesn't work you keep my order on hold. But you didn't even try to contact my email and it would've gone through because your automated ones did. When I called and verified myself because I had the order number and details you wouldn't send my order unless I gave you my phone number. You can't verify me with a phone number if I never included it in the order in the first place. Anyway, just clarifying since I just happened to notice your response now, since buying here I've ordered online probably 100+ times and you have still been the only one who cares if I provide a phone number.

I was very impressed by and very pleased with the service provided by Australian Home Brewing. On-line ordering was not a problem. I was not able to get such low prices anywhere else. Communications with Hamish were excellent. The purchased items were delivered within days. AHB is highly recommended.

Hamish is very knowledgeable, and is happy to troubleshoot any issues or problems you may have. I can highly recommend the Chimay Blue kit, and I have ordered it again.

This is a review of Australian Home Brewing based on visiting their physical store.The staff at AHB are professional, approachable, and very helpful. I bought a starter kit from them and it was a no-fuss, easy process. If you're toying with the idea of doing your own brewing, you can't go past these guys.

Great range and pricing, delivery was quick. All the gear is good quality and well packed.

Who knew that making your own scotch isn't as easy as putting a potato in and alcohol drips out..? Spoke with Hamish here, if there's something he doesn't know about brewing then it's not worth knowing. My fermenter is currently on day #2 and, with Hamish's instructions, happily bubbling away. I like to think it's the scotch snoring while it gets beauty sleep...

I always have 4 or 5 different beers on the go at any one time and never drink the same beer on consecutive nights!!"

Fantastic service from Hamish and the team. Novice brewer here - however, I got all the advice required to get my first brew successfully under way.Had a few questions throughout the process, and Hamish was more than happy to give helpful advice over the phone. Extensive range of equipment and brewing ingredients. I highly recommend this business.
