Hays - Recruitment Agency Canberra

I'm very happy and grateful for the new job opportunity I have thanks to Brian Hukins from Hays. I appreciated very much his professionalism, honesty and support! A great deal better than the other recruiters and recruitment agencies in Canberra I have experienced.

Absolutely terrible experience. I tried following up with them several times and no one bothers to call or email back. If they do, it is usually just to fob me off onto a colleague who pretty much does the same thing. They even been told to try temporary employment registers" for government roles over them

Hays have been excellent for me. I moved to Canberra over a year ago and instantly got construction work through Simon to pay the bills while I hunted for my ideal role as a graphic designer. Simon would regularly check in on me.Later, Nicole assisted me with finding an incredible graphic design role with a federal department and I've been there over a year now. Nicole will often catch up with me to see how I'm doing. Highly recommend, I was well looked after and always made to feel they cared about me.

The staff are very professional, friendly and are very keen to help. I could not believe my luck but they were able to find me a job the day I left my old job, absolutely incredible. Although it is not my dream job" (no such thing anyway)

Came to Hays with prior govt experience and skills.Kate C. listened to my needs, aspirations and based on my skills offered me placement with one of the highly regarded departments . I've never had any issues with Hays (my first ever labour hire agency) or with my consultant Kate.Can't recommend them enough. Terrible experience. Really unprofessional. I wasted two months waiting to start a role I got with a Department, I submitted all the forms they wanted did everything they asked for only to start the role I got through HAYS and it wasnt even what I was told. I got no support, no training, from either HAYS and the Department only to have my contract ended after 3 weeks over ridiculous reasonings. Caretaker was not explained to me from either end so I signed up for fulltime hours and within a week my hours were dropped.A total mess, miscommunicaiton and a headache along with a waste of time. I turned down two opportunities for this job I got through HAYS and it wasnt even worth it. Jelena and Brittany Shaw dont bother having them as your consultants they arent help in anyway - super unprofessional rude and beyond disgusting the way they act and speak. Just horrible.

I have always had a great experience over the past couple of years working with Anthony Mora at Hays. He has indepth knowledge of the finance and accounting industry in Canberra and goes above and beyond to ensure all efforts are made (and quickly) to find the right job fit for both my professional development and cultural environment needs. Even after placement, Anthony regularly checks up on how everything is tracking to make sure I'm still happy with the role.I have used many recruitment agencies in the past and Hays has so far been the most effective and caring towards their clients. Even in the past where I had chosen placements from other recruitment agencies instead of an offer from Hays, Anthony has always been very professional and maintained a positive relationship with myself. I have always felt very comfortable in speaking to him about what I am searching for and have spoken highly and recommended their services to friends and colleagues, and will continue to do so.

Organised to have an interview early in the morning so I could still get to my other job ontime. After sitting for half an hour waiting and calling nobody turned up so I had to leave for work. Huge waste of time and not so much as a apology or a phone call. Super unprofessional

I had many negative experiences with employment recruiters until Theresa Kolo and William Ballam really put themselves personally and professionallly to help me find my desired job. I am now happily engagaed with a job I love in a great caring company.Thersea and William are very friendly and made me feel comfortable.Excellent people!
