This place and Darren deserve way more than 5 stars. Hands down the best customer service I have ever received from Darren. I unexpectedly had issues with my car and needed it fixed urgently. Darren completely understood and helped get the parts as soon as he could in his own time. He kept constant communication and charged a very fare reasonable price. I am not from Melbourne and an unknown mechanic can be scary and an intimidating prospect especially as a woman. Darrens service as well as his team were amazing! I leave this feedback as a trust worthy reliable mechanic is hard to come by. Once again Darren I can’t thank you enough for going above and beyond for a customer.

Have been seeing Darren for about a year now for small - medium repairs. Darren goes out of his way to help you. He’ll always make time and explains everything in detail. Darren provides excellent customer service, while getting the work done fast. He’s very trusting and we know we are not getting ripped off (2 women with little car knowledge). Darren and his team are moving location soon but I will 100% be following them.

I went in yesterday to Rhodes & Heron with my car as it was having a major issue with the water pump making it not drivable. Nervous about taking it anywhere to be fixed the team at Rhodes and Heron made me feel at ease, they were knowledgeable and explained exactly what was wrong with my car and stayed back after hours just to fix my car and help me being that I have only recently moved to Melbourne. I knew I could trust them straight away, the team was genuine and kept me updated throughout the day how the repair was going. I will not go anywhere else, I would trust them to do anything with my car and know that the job will be done properly. If your looking for a new mechanic, Rhodes and Heron are your guys. Darren is a lovely bloke, a great mechanic and has supreme customer service. He has been servicing our Subaru for 2 years and is always honest and professional with the care of our car. I love how he takes me through the diagnostics and explains what he has done. No mansplaining and very respectful. Sounds weird, but I enjoy going to get the car serviced. Thanks Darren!

Took my car to Roads & Heron for repairs on my Volkswagen Golf. The service I received was fantastic! Prior, I have been to other mechanics who attempted to overcharged me or listed problems which were non existent. Shoutout to Darren for his honesty and professionalism. I cannot recommend Darren and his business highly enough.I had an emergency problem with my car and although I live in the country and was a visitor to the city, Darren made time, first thing in the morning, to fix a difficult problem at a most reasonable cost.He was extremely kind and accommodating and took real pride in his work. His generosity with his time, consideration and interest is second to none.
