My MIL got a haircut here & it looks like they chopped her hair off without any styling or consideration to what my mother in law wanted & expressed to them.Aside from the bad haircut, the racial & political discrimination & abuse my MiL encountered from this business was unfathomable.My MiL is from an ethnic background, still with a strong accent in tow despite being in Australia for over 30 years & so she asked a lighthearted question of which country does the accent of the lady cutting her hair comes from to ‘talk shop’.After the ‘stylist’ let my MiL know that she is of Greek origin, the ‘stylist’ rudely asked my MiL where she was from & upon my MiL’s disclosure, she started abusing my MiL, the country my MiL comes from & how insignificant my MiL’s country is, to the point that another saloon worker across the room told the so called stylist chopping off my mother in laws hair, to stop the rant subtly via face gestures.Judging from the previous reviews, the owners/management of this store seem like rude, self - entitled people who think they can say & do what they want & apparently treat another person just based on the country the other person has come from.

Staff are excellent. Both times I have had my cut here I have been very satisfied.

I'm putting one star because I can't put less! Worst haircut of my life!Bad customer service, after having cut my hair in 5 minutes all crooked, I asked him to fix it for me (for the little that could be done) I was told yes with a rude air and made me sit down for not even a minute, and then send me away without even saying goodbye!Do yourself a favor, avoid this “hairdresser”

Today my husband & I went to get his hair cut and before heading to Rosebud from Rye I check the offical trading hours online which stated they closed at 5.30pm on Fridays. My husband arrived at exactly 5pm thinking he had plenty of time give his haircut usually takes around 10mins only to be turn away and told they were already closed at 5pm when he mentioned it states online the close time is 5.30pm he was told in no mixed words - the last half an hour was for them to clean up and count the money! Poor form in our opinion will not be coming back to receive such rude customer service and would suggest they update their close time so not to lose other loyal customers

No option to give less than one star, extremely terrible and rude customer service towards my son who caught the bus all the way there after washing his hair at home to try get a tidy up before work, he was told it was dirty and he would need to pay an extra $15 for a wash if he wanted it cut.. that's on top of $30 for a quick tidy up around neck and sides. He didn't end up staying for the cut, but judging by reviews I am glad my son went elsewhere, our local barber did a wonderful job without it needing a second wash and it was cheaper! Still waiting on a return call from the owner, I am guessing the staff didn't pass on my message. Extremely rude and trying to take advantage financially of a young boy.

Walked up 8 June 2023. No customers inside. Hairdresser said she wanted to go home at 5pm so wouldnt xpress cut my hair. It's open til 5.30. It was 4.40pm. Seriously?????? Zero stars. No haircut no return to this business

A very disappointing experience that left my 16 year old feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. After patiently waiting for 15 minutes while the lady cut someone else’s hair, he stood up ready for his turn to be angrily told ‘Sit back down! I have to sweep and tidy up first!”. She then disappeared out the back. We then left. What a warm, inclusive and encouraging older lady! 1 star is stretching it!

I wouldnt go there again. 1 star is too much. I came to get a haircut 30 minutes before closing time and I was knocked back, They were too busy counting money. Older woman was very rude!
