Hooked Best Fish and Chips
Hooked’s restaurant will get you in the mood for fish and chips, with it nautical knick-knacks and giant octopus mural adorning the walls.I’m going with the classic fare of Salt and Pepper Calamari. The calamari is very fresh and perfectly cooked. Comes with a choice of fries or brown rice and a salad. The greens were crunchy and spicy, the rice was a good complement to the other ingredients.Oh, and the whole dish was just $10! Now that’s value. If you want a tasty affordable lunch, I’d recommend visiting Hooked Fish and Chipper.

Hooked Best Fish and Chips
First time ordering from Hooked, and I can honestly say close to the best fish and chips I've ever had. The flake, prawns, scallops and potato cakes I ordered were hot and crunchy. Will definitely be my got to now for Fish and Chips.

Love Chapel st for its thrift shops, however, makes one hungry, stumbled on these guys as they had a sign out the front, boasting 10 dollar meals, to good to be true had to try, must say the food was amazing cooked to perfection, a big surprise was the asian coleslaw, OMG, so flavoursome, we will definitely be back, to try the burger deal.

Great tasting fish and chips with great service.Good shop front on chapel st, with indoor and outdoor dining.Never had any issues with online orders, with all food arriving as it should.

Delicious as usual. (Been eating here monthly for 5? Years. British pack always! (Mushy peas to add onto crumbed fish, is heaven!) always fresh, generous serves. Applause and thank you to the lovely guy who handled my order tonight, mix up around the crumb/ batter handled beautifully. The crumb/ batter mix up is easy to make on a busy night. 5 stars for outstanding customer service, always great food, and sorting my order out immediately! Ps. The mushy peas / Brit pack are the best, and why I keep coming back.

Walking down Chapel St and found Hooked. Found most other eateries in Chapel St are more pricey. Hooked has $10 lunch specials. I had the Grenadier with chips and salad. I had the fish grilled at no extra cost. The wait time was fair.The chip maybe slightly over cooked but where good. Salad and more importantly fish were very good.

This is the third time. I am a customer who coming here regularly. it is amazing that you giving me a virtual middle finger by giving me this food. . I asked you golden chips. you have confirmed you will give me golden chips. means no brown and burned chips. means less frying. make it 1-2 min less frying. ask for training. its easy, simple, common! frying chips is the simplest task you can do. Please don't tell me that the chips is like that. what are these? are these for eating or for decoration? Remove the rubbish, remove them if they are not look good.Attention to the manager. mate! what are you doing? what your job? train your employee. mate, wake up. stop it. stop it.common, this brand don't know how to fry chips?

Had to ask 5 times if the chips are gluten free as the guy serving couldn't give me a straight answer, before he checked on the box and then when I got them they tasted really poorly. Disappointed as I thought I'd finally found a good gluten free place.

Been here on and off for years. The new owners since March 2022 are great. The food is awesome, fresh, healthy...the service is always friendly and they always remember me. Thanks for the lovely dinners, guys
