If I could give more than 5 stars i would. From the moment we arrived at Toppers mountain until the time we left, we were made to feel like part of the family. Nothing was a problem for Jo and Sally, and their wine knowledge was so impressive. The wine was like nothing I have ever tasted, absolutely amazing. My boyfriend who doesn't drink white ended up with a case of different white wines as it is so good. We are already planning our next visit.

A little out of the way winery, nice and simple. Had a great tasting session including the charcuterie board. Our host, Jo, was part of the vineyard team and was able to share much about the property, wine and grapes without the over the top tasting notes. It was fabulous. Definitely worth the visit.

Topper's Mountain Wines
I highly recommend booking a tasting at Topper's Mountain around lunchtime so you can enjoy the superbly presented charcuterie platter whilst sampling some delicious wines. We were introduced to some rare varieties, Manseng, Nebbiolo and Tannat to name a few. Our favourite was the 2020 Touriga and Tintas Kvevri, a wine left to develop naturally. The location for our tasting was a perfect spot on the veranda with the Chardonnay grapes in the background. Jo was the perfect host, knowledgeable, and great company for several hours. I should also mention she is a skilled photographer.

Topper's Mountain Wines
My partner and I had a tasting at Toppers and had a great time. Jo is a great host, an absolute delight to have a chat with and answering our silly questions. I don’t love reds but may have been somewhat converted - I actually walked away with a bottle of the Nebbiolo.Will definitely be back when we are in the area - in the meantime we will eagerly await our wine club deliveries.

We had a very pleasant wine tasting with some unusual wines. We then had a tour of the winery where Jo explained what was happening with the vines and how some of the plantings differed especially in how they were pruned.

Jo was fun, informative and so accommodating. It was an extensive tasting and found some unique and exciting wines available locally. Of course found it easy to make purchases!
