Customer service was ordinary, beer cold and nice. Place has been renovated and seems to have lost its outback atmosphere. This place from the inside could be any inner Sydney Hotel. Country appeal outside .Customer service was disappointing so we had one drink and left. A smile costs nothing

The feral mixed grill is a must along with the juicy lamb skewers. All cooked to perfection. Beers are nice and cold. The crispy salt bush - YUM.Down to four stars because in SA a pint is a schooner and this place does not serve the imperial pint. The place is very modern looking - looks too posh. IMO an outback pub needs to look rustic and worn down so to speak.My only negative gripe is the one head waitress who I found annoying with her fake smiles and thinks she's better than everyone else" attitude."

Bit of a drive to get there, but it was absolutely worth it. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was great (he had the Feral Feast, I had the Kangaroo Schnitzel) and the Pub itself is gorgeous!

If you're in the Flinders Rangers and looking for an excellent spot to have fantastic food and drinks, don't miss the Prairie Hotel. Just the remnants of an old town on the once Ghan Rail but an amazing hotel with great service and the food is to die for. As they say, a taste of the outback". Couldnt believe how cheap the meals were for what we were being served. Well done!!"

Huge tourist trap. Nothing like the pub it used to be.My mate and I just finished riding 900km on our push bikes and went there to wait overnight for the bus. I asked how much a room was and they said it was going to be $300 for 1 night!!!They had even paid some bloke to write a song about their beer (it's fancy microbrewery. You can't just get regular beer.). I'm sure the locals also don't appreciate what happened to their watering hole.

An oasis that feels in the middle of nowhere.The brew their own beers on site, and they are awesome, particularly the stout.The food is yummy.The rooms are great.The best thing is the awesome service; particularly from Eliie.I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and I don't think I can ever recall being looked after so well.

Dining only. Spectacular food - excellent service. A variety of 'outback' foods including: camel, emu, kangaroo and goat. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Paired with twice roasted potatoes (yum) and slow roasted beetroot with trimmings. Very good wine list. Bookings essential here. Do yourself a favour.

We ordered their ferral meal., salad and beer for lunch on a Sunday. It cost us over $90. The food is so bad and it is overpriced. Not worth at all.
