Perect day out with family and friends. Good facilities are there to spend the whole day for families with children. Solo travellers can enjoy fishing, boat riding along the river. Some games & bar-b-q facilities are there in the park also. Carrying meals would be my recommendations for this spot.

Nice place for family gathering on the bank of Murray river. BBQ shed is there. Kids can play in the park. You can also hire boat house for more than a day. Car park is not an issue as there is a huge car park.

It’s a Dreamtime Story about the Murray fisherman who was turned into a half fish monster half man because of his greediness, that became the Bunyip. The surroundings here are just picturesque but bunyip itself is quite the sight, unfortunately it’s all caged up.

I visited the Bunyip with my kids ages 7 and 8. They were excited to see the Bunyip as I read them the story prior of how he came to be. They were also curious to see if the Bunyip was real or not.The story was probably the highlight as it have us good discussion points about taking more than you need from the sea/nature.I wouldn't go out of my way to see the attraction however if you are in the area it is worth checking out.

Great spot just up from Oz Houseboats for a first night stay on a houseboat. Good sized playground for the kids to stretch their legs and offload some energy. Of an evening it’s a meeting place for you s locals so not sure what a Saturday night would be like. Lovely wide spot of the river.

I drove an extra day to see this magnificent creature and I'm glad I did. It was hilarious and scary at the same time. Great river frontage park also. Lots to see including paddle steamers and historical features. Very easy access to everything for wheelchairs and people with mobility issues.

I recently visited this spot with my nephew. I had been here a few years ago and it used to require a small fee to operate. While I'm glad that it is now free to use, I found the 5-minute wait time to be quite ridiculous. Are you trying to save money on electricity bills?
