Homestyle Aged Care Belmont Grange

Took my Dad out of Belmont Lodge (the poorer sister of Belmont Grange and on the same site) 9 months ago due to bullying by management and the mismanagement of his care. I don't care what is said, they are meant to the experts in dealing with the elderly who can be trying and verbally aggressive, which Dad was at times standing up for what he believed in. Instead of working with the family (which we attempted many times) my father was given a letter by the Manage and RN which threatened him with eviction if he didn't behave himself. We had been speaking to management the day before he was presented with this letter to confirm all was ok which we were told it was. However NOTHING was mentioned that this was going to occur. To make matters worse, management knew the family were not contactable for 3 days and Dad was left to deal with it on his own. He was an emotional mess when we arrived home. I would never recommend Belmont Lodge who served sandwiches and soup for dinner and threaten instead of mediating! Mark, don't bother contacting me...there is nothing that will ever convince me Homestyle acted honourably or within the code of conduct.
